Based on recent customer reviews, Pathcare receives strong praise for individual phlebotomists who provide warm, professional and pain-free blood draw experiences at select branches. However, the overwhelming majority of feedback highlights severe frustration with billing and accounts practices. Customers consistently report being charged for tests not ordered, receiving surprise invoices after paying in full, ignored emails, unresolved payment disputes, and being handed over to debt collectors despite active payment arrangements or proof of settlement. The accounts department is widely described as unresponsive, threatening, and incompetent.

Based on recent customer reviews, this business delivers a consistently strong customer experience anchored by outstanding agent quality and rapid communication. Customers frequently name individual consultants and praise their friendliness, patience, and professionalism. Recurring praise is given to claims and roadside assistance, though a vocal minority report frustrating delays, rejected claims, and poor transparency around premium increases.

I recently visited Pathcare for my blood tests, with the request form clearly indicating what tests should be done. At the billing stage, Pathcare billed a test that was never requested and this resulted on that portion being rejected by my medical aid. Why must I be liable for your incorrect billing? Lancet was doing a great job, I don't know about you.

Last week I called into Pathcare to query an account I spoke to Mariam that told me that she cannot give me any info as this was for my 17-year-old daughter and due to the POPI Act she cannot give me any information. I proceeded to ask her if she could provide proof of where it reflects that I cannot get any info SHE COULD NOT! She told me she was going to call me later that day to confirm with my daughter and a week later no phone call. she also advised me that her team leader Yolanda Wilson was going to contact me a week later NO CALL! but I did infact receive a bill to pay the account. The reasoning behind this is that I should just pay and not query?

I'm writing this on behalf of my husband, who is abroad and has limited online access. I see you have been harassing him and handed him over now for email ref: G001966206. All it states on the invoice is 0031591519 CASH PATIENTS. This is absolute *******. My husband paid you in cash in full on the day he was there. What is this **** of charging for CASH PATIENT??? You can forget about getting another cent. The amount was given to him that day, more than R2500, and that is what he paid. I see a lot of people complaining about your company trying your luck to get more money out of people afterwards. No extra tests were done or asked for, and I'm sorry, but CASH PATIENT is a lame excuse when ALL FUNDS WERE PAID ON THE DAY! Remove this and also withdraw this **** from Blake's and Attorneys, as you have no handed him over. You should be ashamed of your practices! You can contact me on 083 442 1188 as he can't be reached.

was previously employed at Pathcare VEREENIGING in 2022. I resigned within 24 hours and after that I recieved a better offer at Ampath. Upon working at Ampath, my Husband and I relocated to the Northern Cape. Unfortunetly I could not get a transfer as there is no Ampath here. I app**** for a vacancy in the Northern Cape at Pathcare and I was notified that I am sucessfull, only to be informed the next day that my application is suddenly unsucessful. Upon investigating, they informed me that I have been red flagged by the HR. I strongly feel it is inappropriate that I am STILL red flagged after 4 years and it now jeopradises my opportunity where by I could persue and grow my career further. A specific Chair person also informed me that Pathcare Vereeniging was not suppose to red flag me. If I am not mistaken it is also against the POPI ACT to disclose reason for leaving. Whatever the reason might be, regardless of the company. Everybody grows in life and therefor deserves a second chance especially if you know you are more than compitent in your job and matured. Maybe it was a personal vendetta. Surely the flagging only remains for a period of time only. Data Subject Rights is an employee right of correction or deletion of data via POPI ACT.

I want to say Thank you to Wayne at PathCare @ Medical Park N1 City for His excellent service. From a person that hates needles, it's been the first time I've felt so confident in taking bloods. I gave PathCare 5 stars because of Him, he brings a calmness to those who has a fear of taking bloods and you don't feel anything.
