Suspended Immigration Attorney in Cape Town
Good day Magistrate Court, I am submitting a complaint regarding Tashriq Ahmed, who operates the law firm of Ahmed & Associates. I hired him to assist with obtaining a work permit. Initially, he charged R5000 upfront and promised that the remainder would be paid once the permit was issued. However, he retained my passport for three months and claimed that he was busy handling my case. When I urgently needed my passport to travel to Johannesburg, I requested its return and inquired about the progress of my application. He failed to provide a satisfactory response. Upon further investigation, I discovered that Mr. Tashriq Ahmed was suspended last November. It is concerning that he accepted my case despite his suspended status and has yet to make any progress on my work permit application. I am now seeking a refund of the fees paid. I kindly request that you take appropriate action against Mr. Tashriq Ahmed for his failure to fulfill his obligations and return my funds. Sincerely, Harold
