Subject: Complaint Against Mr. Tashriq Ahmed of Ahmed & Associates

To the Law Society of South Africa,

I am writing to file a complaint against Mr. Tashriq Ahmed, an immigration lawyer or consultant at Ahmed & Associates. I hired him to remove me from the V-List, and he assured me that he would resolve the matter through Mr. Mzukisi Witbooi and Matthew Modiri, who work at Home Affairs. However, he charged me R17500, which is more than half of his fee, with the rest to be paid after obtaining the clearance certificate. He sent me several appointment letters and a waiver certificate containing the details of Mr. Mzukisi Witbooi and Matthew Modiri.

Upon contacting Mr. Mzukisi Witbooi, he confirmed that the letters were not issued by him and that he has no involvement with the V-List. I have lodged complaints forms against the lawyer along with all evidence.

I am requesting the Law Society to take serious action against Mr. Tashriq Ahmed for misusing the details of Home Affairs officials and falsely claiming that these officials are involved in resolving his clients' matters.
