I bought a 2012 Porsche Cayenne from Cape SUV, i am located in Johannesburg, the vehicle was delivered to me two weeks later after it got lost in transit, upon arrival we found that the instrument cluster was not working. Johann the salesman informed us to take the vehicle to the agents for repairs as they will fit the bill, after receiving the invoice they refuse to pay, the receptionist is also not allowed to give out the owner Anton's cellphone number

After purchasing a Range Rover Sport for R 500.000 I reported the following : Hi Johann, Hope this mail finds you well . I would appreciate your comment to this mail. We have been overseas for a while and have not spent much time with the car. When I gave the car in for an electronic gear box fault alert , there were many inconsistent faults on the computer diagnosis . Let me list the problems as we found them: - Front shocks need replacement - gear lever was stuck in “park” - replacement of that unit fitted - manual release cable was broken - cable ordered and fitted - sliding roof seal faulty , cannot use the roof - glass in front of the sliding roof cracked - trailer tow hitch socket not for SA - socket sourced - luggage rack for HSE not supp**** - rubber seal of left rear door missing - paint of bonnet different from rest - left front tyre deep cut ( not by us) - fitted 4 Pirelli tyres Before writing my review I would appreciate your reply by mail. Thank you for your assistance No reply, no assistance, no comment Very bad experience

Would say the worst experience I've had dealing with a business. Car was full of accident damage and defective parts. Chassis was bent being the main thing and later found out the head gasket was blown, still functional but on the way out, 4x4 system also didn't work and various parts needed to be replaced. Dispute with them lasted about 6months where there would be a reply and then they didn't reply for long periods of time or used aggressive language and threats to sue. At one stage I went into the business and was shouted at and futher threatened to be sued when I disputed why the chassis hadn't been repaired as part of the dispute resolution. If you buy a car here, which I don't recommend, get your own mechanic to do a full assessment before handing over any money.

Anton always has the best advise when it comes to purchasing your new vehicle. Although I only bought two vehicles from CAPE SUV , I have bought many through solid advice from Anton. Be sure to call CAPE SUV , even if its only for advice .

I want to thank Cape Suv for my great Range Rover. This is my 2nd Range Rover I have purchased from them and as always what a pleasure. The reverse camera was faulty, but they got it repaired ASAP.A big thanks to Ruby for getting my personal number plates sorted for me. Thanks Cape SUV
