The factory service purchasing of spares is shockingly bad. Be aware that if you place an order for spares (even if you pay up front in full) will be fraught with excuses, delays, lack of communication, and unavailability of key service providers. No one returns calls as promised; people instead take time off, are caught up in meetings and are conducting stock takes and therefore too busy to either take a query call or even respectfully return a call. The number of excuses (and the variety of excuses) from the receptionist as to why I can't speak to Johanna is a really bad indictment of this company. Then, after much trying, suddenly certain parts are not in stock, have not been invoiced, or approval is needed from the Finance manager. The business processes at this company are seriously at fault, and client focus simply does not exist. Anyone investing in umbrellas as we did from this company should be aware that they should not expect after-sales service or expect to wait many months for repairs.
