Before we paid this company, they were on the ball. Bobby came to our home on a Saturday to do a consult. They were in contact. We paid and from that moment I regret doing business with this company.

Their communication is terrible. They don't answer phone calls and take very long to reply to emails.

After they cast the screed, which took over a week to do, I eventually got hold of Bobby to find out that the floors had tons of bubbles. Bobby redid the casting, and everything took ages again.

Once the floors were complete. We were left with a mess of a home, screed was left on the walls, on the skirting, on curtains, just all over. They left all the rubble (including empty cigarette packs and empty food parcels) on my balcony, which is quite disgusting! After we complained to Bobby, he apologized and informed us that he was not there when they did the work.

He said that he would "do us a favour" and remove the rubble and come in to clean skirtings. After another week. Nothing had been done. I kept calling everyday to follow up and everyday I was promised that it would be done the next day.

Eventually I emailed them and told them I will clean everything up myself and remove the rubble myself.

And now, a few weeks later and the floors are cracking, the one room has a lot of big cracks and the company does not respond to any communication from me.

DO NOT do business with these people!

Capecrete is quick to take your money upfront, however you need to chase them to finish a job. It's been a year of fighting, calling and emailing them to finish of my floors. They make promises they never keep. Eon is the worst crook ever!!!! Their staff are forever changing and very rude and unable to deal with client queries- have no accountability.
It's a year later and I am still with floors that have holes which look horrible. I just tried to call their office now and am told that Capecrete is closed down and have reopened in Mosselbay, an not sure if that is the truth. They are apparently now called Nationalcrete.
Please DO NOT do business with this company or Eon He will run away with your money without finishing the job.

Paid Cape Crete in full on the 5th October to install self leveling flooring at our house. They phoned later the day to confirm installation for the Friday - then postponed twice due to NO STOCK of the product. They eventually did phase 1 of the install on Wednesday 14 Oct. Received a BILL and request for a further 35% payment before they book the completion. Had to call and remind we paid in full ! Completion was confirmed for 19/10 and have just been informed that they not only did not make it yesterday, but won't be coming today. Tried to contact the owner, but was informed that his number is not given out to clients. Really ? Still waiting for their call...

I came across the Hello Peter comments when researching cement-flooring companies. After contacting Capecrete via email and chatting to them over the phone, it was hard to believe the comments read here. Every person I spoke to over the phone and who emailed me was very helpful and provided all the information I requested. When they came to give me a quote at our home, we were very impressed with the person's knowledge and he was very informative. After visiting the showroom and receiving 3 different quotes from 3 different companies, my wife and I decided to go with Capecrete as we received a warm and friendly experience with them compared to the other companies. I am happy to confirm that we had absolutely NO problems whatsoever and we experienced smooth sailing from start to finish. Wish I could post pictures on this site to show everyone our amazing floors. Capecrete is a small, but strong family business, they are truly dedicated and more than willing to go the extra mile. I must say, from the beginning, I was impressed with the fact that Capecrete replies to all the negative posts to tell their side of the story. Funny how not one of these clients have replied back?

I just want to thank CapeCrete for their great service. After completing my floors, the next contractor came in to install my kitchen cupboards. When they were almost done I was horrified to see they damaged my stunning floors! Hysterically I contacted CapeCrete's office in the hope that they will be able to fix the damage. Huge scratch marks, stains... They assured me that everything will be fine and that there was no need to stress. They sent their team out as soon as they finished my kitchen. They stripped the sealer, cleaned the floors and re-sealed it no problem. My floors look brand new again! I am so happy with the results! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I requested a quote foor a 'floor repair' as well as 'DIY Self-levelling'. I was sent the quote for the products we would need and decided to ahead with the project as the price seemed reasonable. It was only after we enquired about the steps to follow when conducting this ourselves (we wanted to double check if we understood the DIY-instruction sheet) that we were told the quote omitted the price of the goods needed for the floor repair (which we have to do prior to self-levelling).

I am very disappointed as it feels as though we were mis-lead and mis-informed as only after we purchased the product we were told we need another bunch of products before we can successfully do the self-levelling.

I addition I sent an email indicating my disappointment and received no response, not even a mere apology.
