Disgraceful behaviuor and service
Still no interaction after nearly 4 months from submission. I had to pay people for rendering their services again. No follow up of their clients accounts . Due to not changing my banking details i have to wait and extra 21 days. What a waste of time and money

Never again
What a hogwash company. I paid thousands for their services whom i got recommended to. Send my application end of June and Jo forgot to forward it to Zanmari. The application got sent two weeks later but thats not the worse of it. Ross kept sending notifications of the account that needed to be paid for services done incorrectly and poorly. Its now October 2024 and still no payout because they never changed my banking details and never removed the old one. Then Zanmari **** about forwarding all the documentation which caused more delays. Now SARS is constantly sending notifications about my account is hold due to incorrect banking details. Today i had to use another tax company who was very helpful and to my surprise told me theres a bank stoppage on the account, what the hell. Even worse Ross is now demanding payment for provisional taxes for 2025 and i have not received my 2024 yet lol. A few months ago i over paid my account and requested the excess amount be transferred back into my account. The reply i got from Ross was that i needed to send a pdf document stating that it came from my account in order for him to do the transfer. ***. If i could rate them nothing or minus zero i would gladly do it. They are the worse tax company. I had to use another company and paid extra for services Capitax should have provided. To think we pay for services and their salaries to be treated like this is absolutely disgusting. Almost 4 months down the line and still no assistance to get my tax payout

Capitax - Shocking service
As a South African citizen working abroad, selected Capitax Expat Tax Specialists services as of mid 2014. Until 4th quarter 2019 I had enjoyed the hospitality and professional service received by Aletta (Founder) & Johan (Managing Director) Theron who run this business. What I considered a sincere and excellent reppport took an unprecedented turn for the worst on 07.11.2019 whereupon requesting a tax clearance certificate. Th request was initially via mail and after no response, I chose to follow up telephonically. I was informed she would return my call / reply to my mail shortly as she was busy, I found that quite acceptable and waited patiently only to be told they had taken a decision (without any consultation) to deregister me and stated they no longer felt comfortable representing me! No explanation other than above after 6 years of honest patronage. I find their attitude utterly appalling and wish for the public to be aware of such unjust treatment for n one deserves such poor service which goes against their business model as advertised on their website http://www.capitax.co.za/ The financial future of South Africans working abroad is about to change negatively for most, and no doubt many will be seeking the adice and services of such businesses, All I can suggest is stay far away from these folks. Please note: I have always paid for their services and at no time was there any lack of service against any funds paid, they just neglect their client without communication nor reasonable cause.
