I would NOT recommend Car Care Clinic in Sunninghill. I took my car in because the gearbox was not changing properly. They immediately recommended a gearbox service and charged me R10,000. After the service, they told me the car was smoking and claimed the engine had no compression. I was quoted R62,000 for an engine overhaul. I got a second opinion. It turned out they had put gearbox oil into the engine, causing the smoking. The actual fix cost me R7,000 elsewhere. The car never even needed a gearbox service — it only needed a gear selector replacement. Wrong diagnosis, careless workmanship, and no accountability when I asked them to resolve it. Very disappointing experience.
