I usually only take my car in for routine servicing. However, I noticed an oil leak and couldn't determine the source. After inspection, the service center identified the issue as a head gasket problem. They replaced it at a significant cost, but the oil leak persisted. Upon re-inspection, they claimed it was the main rear seal, which led to additional charges, totaling over R10K. The following day, my car began jerking, losing power, and cutting out. They then suggested it was the crank sensor. At this point, I lost confidence in their expertise and sought a second opinion. It was confirmed that the real issue was faulty coil packs, not the parts identified by the Car Service Centre. The second mechanic also pointed out an oil leak through the oil cap, which CSC failed to detect. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Durbanville CSC.
