Originally approached Cargo Edenvale as they are listed as Alfa Romeo dealers. The Blue-me had to be replaced and we had to pay for the part to allow them to order it from their supplier. We were phoned after +- weeks to say that the part arrived. When it was fitted it was found to be faulty, they then re-fitted the original and we were told that we will be advised when the new one arrives. Beginning December we were told that the replacement part has arrived and the car was booked in for the 10th. Since then we have had very little joy out of them. After fitting the new part the car now apparently developed a misfire and according to them a test revealed that one piston was down on compression. Needles to say the car was driven into their workshop and there was no loss of power and or misfiring. Subsequently gave them the go-ahead to send the head through to an Engineering department. Followed up beginning of January 2020 and spoke to their W/shop manager after being told that it is not back from Engineering as yet. He gave me an undertaking that the head would be back on 21 Jan 2020 and they will start re-assembling and the car should be ready for collection on 28th. He also undertook to provide me with an update by the 23rd and this did not happen. I do not expect them to respond to this post, as I have seen no responses on previous posts from other complaints lodged against them, which really shows how much Customer Service means to them. It makes their company motto of Customers being part of the family sound like a sick joke. If you own an Alfa please do not take it to them. It is dealers like this that do more damage to a brand name and honestly if they do not have the expertise on site, they should rather sell bicycles.
