I bought a used Toyota Avanza from Caxmax in Jules street for R85000. The car had lot of problems that were not disclosed. I made a decision to buy that car based on the false report that was presented to me. I was not even told that I am buying a voetstoot (As Is) car. I transferred the money into their account and later on I was asked to signed the invoice. I signed the invoice without even reading as it was already a done deal. The car had problems with starting and I was told that it was because it has been parked for a while. After driving for 200m I realised that the speedometer was not working, I then made a U-turn to the dealer, when I pulled the hand brake the car rolled back. Mohamed told me that I should bring the car the next day as they were about to close. I discovered that the Dipstick was too short to reach the oil in the Engine , I then drive to Limpopo and the started to overheat when I was driving back. I had to carry a 25L bottle of water in the car and kept on adding water whenever the car overheated. I felt that the dealer took an advantage of me by not disclosing all the defects in the car and that they don't care about their clients.
