Carport and Steel Specialists, Lyttleton

This review is hopefully to prevent others from losing money to unscrupulous businesses like this one.

On the 03/12/2018 I paid the owner of carport and steel specialists, Kobus, R6230 for three steel gates I required. This was the deposit he asked for which was 70% of the total figure. Kobus has since run with the money, refuses to answer my calls, and it is apparent he will not be doing the work or returning the money.

Please be very aware when dealing with this company if in fact it is a real company. Kobus appears like a well dressed and professional person, he will take measurements and even provide some pre-sales service like asking the type of installation, colours, etc, once the deposit is handed over, then he will buy time with excuses and finally complete silence. Their quote indicates that they operate from the Lyttleton, Pretoria area.
