Case city poor customer after service

Below average quality ipad cover. Screen cover warped after 5 months. manufacturer claims it is due to temperature fluctuations?

as this is a clear manufacturing issue and not damage or abuse i expected better customer service. was told nothing can be done and it is case city policy to not exchange/refund or even provide a solution to help. disappointed with the poor service.
