On the 2024/04/30 at 13:56:50 I purchased an Iphone 7 for the price of R3 149.90 for my partner at Cash Xchange Field Street Durban. She experienced issues such as installing banking apps and social media apps and occasionally display. On the 21st of August the phone switched off upon trying to switch it on so the phone would not go past the apple logo. On the 22nd of August My partner brought the phone back to the store. She was told it has a software issue. She was then asked to pay R300 to get it fixed. She proceeded to pay the amount, the phone was flashed(wiped). Given back to her and she was told the phone was fixed and that when she logs into her iCloud the phone would be back to normal. Upon trying to enter the icloud the phone had no network signal. After waiting a few days the signal did not return. She returned the phone back to the store on the following monday 26 August. On the 30th August she was told the phone has a motherboard fault. When she asked to be refunded the R300 she was asked to pay. She was told the money had been used to pay the individual that wiped or fixed the phone so it would not be returned to her. When she asked what was to happen next she was told. The phone would be sent back to Cape Town. The service is awful the staff is ******** & disrespectful... Whenever I call I get put hold and the call is dropped. When I visit the branch and ask for further details on the matter I am ignored with no reply. I haven't been to able speak to management. I'm annoyed and dissatisfied with service in future I will not be purchasing another product from any Cash Xchange store nation wide.
