We purchased a side by side Hisense fridge from Cash Exchange in Pretoria Central in November 2024. The salesperson assured me that the fridge had never been repaired before. However, shortly after purchase, the fridge started malfunctioning, failing to freeze properly. We contacted the store, and they sent a technician to inspect the fridge on 29 January 2025. The technician revealed that the fridge's motor had been replaced with a smaller one, which caused the issue. He promised to have the fridge working properly by 01 February 2025. However, the technician never returned, and the store has failed to communicate with me since then. As a result, our food has spoiled due to the non-functional fridge. We're extremely disappointed with the poor after-sales service and the sale of a defective product. We request that Cash Exchange takes immediate action to resolve this issue.

Terrible customer service received here even after sending several communications and making contact with the store they still went ahead and sold my cellphone,I needed some urgent cash and went there and left my phone in exchange i went to the store 1st time and did contract extend , but due to some work travelling i had to leave town for a few months as i was in the same town due to work only i sent an email to them to advise that i am far away cant make it to the store to extend can they assist give me an account number i can use i even reached out to their whatsapp chanel asking for the account number i can just transfer money on as i was not available to no luck and no assistance was told via whatsapp to send someone and did say i got no one to send I sent them another 3rd email thats when they responded and called me back and told me my phone is being sold i asked them again please send an account as i dont want to sell it i need it back when i come back still no one assisted i was then called by a lady called julia i gues she is the manager and she told me they made a mistake they sold my phone and the phone that they had in store was not mine but i can send money she will send me account details and they will keep the phone for me ,but have been asking for that same account way back and now they want to give me a phone that is not mine ,how? the sold my phone when all communications had been sent out via all their chanels

Received great customer service from Willmien. She assisted me by purchasing a game & sent it to me all the way to the Northern Cape. The package came as described & was nicely bubble wrapped for protection as well. Would definitely recommend their services, even for online queries.

I have been there 3 times no better service your sales agents are moody and grumpy and so unreasonable behavior happening there it's like you went there to sell ****** stuff they have made made me uncomfortable 3 times I have been there 2 ladies plus their manager,attitude and they don't have approach it's like they giving free money, I will never take my stuff there ever again please tell your stuff to change their behavior it's a pit I don't have name but everyone in tha sales side they rude including their manager

I'm writing this review with a very heavy heart after been given the worst customer service earlier today at Cash XChange in Pretoria central (Pretorius street) by one of the employees. I called to enquire about my due payment date for an item I got a loan on , as I was on the phone with Sandile Madolo (if I got his surname right), and as we were on the phone I had to answer someone on my side and he rudely told me that "I can not be entertaining other people while i am on a call with him as he has customers to attend to" as I tried reprimanding him about his tone and the manner he was responding he blatantly told me I'm wasting his time and hung up the phone while I was still talking. As a person that works in retail I'm still shook by his behaviour and how the company condones such behaviour, the audacity and cheek of that young man in that store is unacceptable. And it would be poor to find your company named being tarnished all because of an *********** person. Kindly get your house in order and train employees to value customers.

*** goods The products of the store are problematic and the store itself is not apologetic about their products not working they actually blamed me for buying the product, after I asked how is it my problem that you guys sold me something that doesn't work the staff started being rude to me including the manager I bought a laptop at cash x change midrand and the laptop was not working I went to the store and they told me there's nothing they can do the only option for me is to sell it back to them and guess what it was half the amount I bought it. *** goods The products of the store are problematic and the store itself is not apologetic about their products not working they actually blamed me for buying the product, after I asked how is it my problem that you guys sold me something that doesn't work the staff started being rude to me including the manager I bought a laptop at cash x change midrand and the laptop was not working I went to the store and they told me there's nothing they can do the only option for me is to sell it back to them and guess what it was half the amount I bought it. On the 2024/04/30 at 13:56:50 I purchased an Iphone 7 for the price of R3 149.90 for my partner at Cash Xchange Field Street Durban. She experienced issues such as installing banking apps and social media apps and occasionally display. On the 21st of August the phone switched off upon trying to switch it on so the phone would not go past the apple logo. On the 22nd of August My partner brought the phone back to the store. She was told it has a software issue. She was then asked to pay R300 to get it fixed. She proceeded to pay the amount, the phone was flashed(wiped). Given back to her and she was told the phone was fixed and that when she logs into her iCloud the phone would be back to normal. Upon trying to enter the icloud the phone had no network signal. After waiting a few days the signal did not return. She returned the phone back to the store on the following monday 26 August. On the 30th August she was told the phone has a motherboard fault. When she asked to be refunded the R300 she was asked to pay. She was told the money had been used to pay the individual that wiped or fixed the phone so it would not be returned to her. When she asked what was to happen next she was told. The phone would be sent back to Cape Town. The service is awful the staff is ******** & disrespectful... Whenever I call I get put hold and the call is dropped. When I visit the branch and ask for further details on the matter I am ignored with no reply. I haven't been to able speak to management. I'm annoyed and dissatisfied with service in future I will not be purchasing another product from any Cash Xchange store nation wide.
