We purchased a side by side Hisense fridge from Cash Exchange in Pretoria Central in November 2024. The salesperson assured me that the fridge had never been repaired before. However, shortly after purchase, the fridge started malfunctioning, failing to freeze properly.
We contacted the store, and they sent a technician to inspect the fridge on 29 January 2025. The technician revealed that the fridge's motor had been replaced with a smaller one, which caused the issue. He promised to have the fridge working properly by 01 February 2025.
However, the technician never returned, and the store has failed to communicate with me since then. As a result, our food has spoiled due to the non-functional fridge.
We're extremely disappointed with the poor after-sales service and the sale of a defective product. We request that Cash Exchange takes immediate action to resolve this issue.
