My rain account git handed over to them even though I hadn't made use of it over 2 years but I decided to pay the amount in full once they contacted me as I knew it would affect my credit score and all that. The lady who called assured me that after payment has been done my name will be cleared and that I would receive a clearance certificate to proof this. I paid last year April have never received the clearance certificate and no email to address the issue. They just disappeared after I made payment, anytime I try to apply for anything I get told that I have outstanding accounts with these people.
We purchased a side by side Hisense fridge from Cash Exchange in Pretoria Central in November 2024. The salesperson assured me that the fridge had never been repaired before. However, shortly after purchase, the fridge started malfunctioning, failing to freeze properly. We contacted the store, and they sent a technician to inspect the fridge on 29 January 2025. The technician revealed that the fridge's motor had been replaced with a smaller one, which caused the issue. He promised to have the fridge working properly by 01 February 2025. However, the technician never returned, and the store has failed to communicate with me since then. As a result, our food has spoiled due to the non-functional fridge. We're extremely disappointed with the poor after-sales service and the sale of a defective product. We request that Cash Exchange takes immediate action to resolve this issue.
I made a purchase of a student desk and office chair as a birthday present for my younger sister on the 19 September 2024. Was told that the items would be in stock on the 31 of September 2024 but after calling and visiting the store countless times the only thing I receive is excuses and not my items. When i requested a refund I was told I have to wait for customers to pay cash in store till the money reaches my amount or wait for stock that may never arrive. This all took place at the Thorntree fair price branch and was assisted by Manuel.
I placed an order last week and ever since that day I have not received any type of communication in regards to my order. Today marks a full week of no communication but my money is gone I demand an explanation about my order and delivery. Based on this experience I don't think I would recommend their services.
I was using the rain network back in 2021 then I got ****** after that I didn't renew the simcard. To my suprise today I received a call from a debt collector company saying that my rain network account has been handed over to them for not paying my subscriptions since 2021 and note I haven't been using rain network since June or July 2021.
Bought 2(two) 500g tubs of country fair chicken livers from checkers, expiry date is okay. Problem came when i opened the chicken livers they had black stuff on top and the livers themselves were grey. Not sure if its a checkers issue or country fair but if it has your name on it it's your responsibility. Never had a bad experience with it, this is my first.
I bought a Hyundai Tucson from autopedigree pretoria gezina branch now the car is having two colours I phoned the salesperson Mr Wessel and he told me to bring the car on the 12/07/22 10H00 am. He checked the car he saw what my problem was, he wanted to book in the car and he was not sure for how long? I told I use car on daily basis, me and my children to school I will need a car to do all these ups and downs. I asked him if he doesn't have a pool car he said no, he can only arrange a driver to take me home. As a client I am so disappointed in him I had to take my car back home cos I won't survive a day without a car. He should have explained to me before I drove for nothing to their branch and now i have to drive around in a 2 tone car. If they take my car in they have to give me another i can't be left without a car, this is bad service indeed.
I'm so furious and disappointed in both cell C and hollard insurance my phone was stolen on the 06 December 2021. Since I made the claim Im the one who is phoning making follow up. They keep on saying we are still investigating for goodness sake I took 2 devices Huawei psmart 2021 from cell C Im wandering if you are saying I mixed up the two sim cards that's not the excuse I need my phone as soon as now I'm loosing lot of clients in my business. You didn't forget to debit for my phone and insurance on the 15/12/2021 knowing very well that I d have the device with me. I've been waiting for a long time now, I need my phone asap. I won't encourage anyone to get into a deal with cell c looking at what they are doing to me right now, I have to use my daughter's phone which is an inconvenience to both of us. In the last couple of days I noticed some suspicious transactions in my account. I thought there was a company deducting money from my account, it was about 20:00 when these transactions occurred. The next morning i rushed to a near by Capitec branch, there I discovered that it was not a company that was deducting money from my account rather it seemed like some1 hacked into the account and use the money to do online purchases. I asked them to help me get back my money cause I know nothing about this, they told m in order for them to do an investigation they would charge me. They said they would charge R70 for each transaction if its was a local transaction meaning it would be R420 because it was 6 transactions and it was an international transaction they would charge R160 each transaction, which meant it would be R960 and even after all that they said they don't guarantee that i will get the money back. I lost R496 because Capitec failed to protect my account, I would never recommend Capitec bank to my worst enemy. I want my money back please escalate this matter in order for me to get my money back. Kind regards Candid
