Bad service at Catch 22 Bar and Grill

This used to be my favourite restaurant, i was realy passionate over this retaurant. Unfortunately it has changed this past Saturday. I called the morning before 12 to make a reservation for 2 people for 8 the evening. Upon arival, we wrre told that there are still ladies sitting at our table and that we should wait for a table. I said no, there are other open tables, so we sat on the balcony. We were given a menu. No printed winelist on order as they apparently dont know when wine might be out of stock( ****ty excuse, as its not as if they are sitting on the vlak van verlatenheid nie ne?) My husband was told to look on the black board inside.at what wines was available! I ordered a ****tail and my husband a bottle of wine The waiter left and came back 5 minutes later with an icebuckit with only ice in it. He asked 'so how about your food order'? I said so how about our drinks? The barrista was apparently busy with it. When we tried to order veg with our fish and rice(for hubby) and chips (for me) we were told very sternly that we cant have veg too. Its either or. It wasnt even given as an extra menu item. At that moment we still havent been served with anything to drink yet. We decided to leave. I told the manager to cancel everything we had ordered. She told my husband that he shouldnt had started a confrontation with her waiter! We havent even started a confrontation with him! What audacity! I told her this realy wasnt what we expected. We left there, very upset. We were treated extremely poorly. They will never ever see us again.
