If I could give half a star I would. After the experience I had yesterday I am utterly disguted with the customer service at Cedar Storage. When I was looking to get a storage unit everyone was more than happy to help and go the extra mile to arrange a unit. I've been a paying customer for about 5 months now and after my experience yesterday I would honestly move somewhere else. I have just moved to a new place and I have been trying to juggle work and moving at the same time. I managed to arrange a bakkie yesterday to get a couch and table for my place which would have taken me and 10 minutes max to remove from my unit and load onto the bakkie. I went to Cedar Storage after work yesterday as it was the only time I've had available. I arrived at 17:50 and after waiting a few minutes and not being let in, I called and they told me I must wait for security and speak to them. The security came out the office at 18:00 and refused to let me enter the complex and spoke to me with such an attitude. She told me that I was lying about waiting outside for 10 minutes and told me that it is after hours and that I must leave and come back to the unit tomorrow. After begging and pleading and ensuring that it won't take us longer than 10 minutes to remove those two items, she said again "I told you its after hours, I told you to go home and come tomorrow ". Is that really how Cedar Storage and their staff treat loyal and paying customers. I'm absolutely horified that Cedar Storage is only willing to go the extra mile when getting new customers but are not willing to assist paying customers that are using their units.
