01 Feb 2022, 11:26Good day Benjamin. We have followed up with our Technical team as well as the contractor. We make no claim that our products are able to rectify or hide cracks, especially structural ones. We even make note of the types of cracking on our website which all prospective clients are welcome to read. The contractor did advise to install expansion joints to assist in reducing re-cracking or further cracking, which you refused. Unfortunately your floor substrate is inferior and had many, and large, cracks to begin with. Your floors where no structural cracks are present look amazing, further emphasizing the fact that the Cemcrete decorative product on top has performed well. Even though your floor substrate is inferior, the contractor redid the floors at their cost to assist. Considering the floors have cracked again in the same place shows there is still movement in the base or house structure itself. We advise you consult with a structural engineer, or perhaps the Concrete Institute, for further guidance on how to stop, or rectify this ongoing issue in your building structure. We would be pleased to receive their technical reports as well if you are willing to share them with us. Wishing you well. Warm regards, Cemcrete Marketing
Best regards,
