We app**** in 2025 and received student number 250565943 and accepted. Come Monday 19 to apply we struggle to log in, finally the system works. From 8:00 until 11:00 my daughter trying to register only to be told that it is full and program closed. Someone called Mmokeb reply with that statement. So no matter how early you try to apply still full and no help with online application as no one answers the phone to assist or guide when struggling. This is sad that for the second time 2024 we app**** for 2025 accepted, then full 2025 we app**** for 2026, accepted still full. Why do they offer online if no one can be deligated to assist online.

i have been struggling to get a hold of the people at CUT for a good month called them its almost like i annoy them cause when i call to resolve the issue with my certificate the put the phone off in my ear i finished my modules in 2021 and they registered it in 2022 but i finished it and now they are withholding it cause i owe them money i am calling to resolve it so i can pay so i can just receive my certificate

I have been going to the assistant registrar office in Welkom Campus for a week now, I have been restricted from registering for my honors degree due to outstanding ID and MATRIC Certificate, but I did Upload them on my iTs I have been studying with the university for years and I have obtained two qualifications from the University how come they do not have my documents. I drive 170 KM every day to Welkom Campus only to be sent away by Mme Lekutu and her clientele is not so good towards students. My student Number: 219015424. I cannot unblock the finances as yet due to that dilemma I am facing of unsatisfactory admin service I keep on getting yet I am a stakeholder as well.

Has anybody else noticed how government universities, in particular CUT but also UKZN and Wits, are making it very difficult to obtain payment? The people in the finance departments seem to think they run the universities. CUT finance department has introduced a cumbersome, inefficient bureaucratic process of submitting claims that requires filling in 5 pages of un-editable PDF to provide details repeatedly that they already have on record. The department is particularly unhelpful and I am still waiting for proof of payment for a job completed in February. UKZN has not paid me for the last three jobs I did for a professor there, and I had to follow up delayed payment from Wits. *********** finance departments should be dismissed and replace with competent people who understand their job is just to process payments. They do not run the university. Is this just another example of the ANC destroying relationships, jobs and businesses in this failed South African state?

My brother applied through CACH system and he got an offer to study electrical engineering we accepted the offer, now when we call the institution they saying that they are full. How can you offer someone and when that person go there the institution is full. Why they playing with kid's future. They failing kids and parents. I even spoke to Electrical Engineering HOD he was so rude not seeing anything wrong. I am sooo disappointed with the institution

NSFAS claim I am owing R61K which I had no acess to and have never used.They have handed my account to the attorneys even after I have furnished them the proof that the university (Central University of Technology) has reversed the funds to NSFAS. I have tried on multiple occasions to report this to NSFAS but they keep on ignoring my emails which includes the proof and focus on the amount they claim I am owing, now the account is in areas.
