Long story short: I bought bullion in 2017 with Die Goudwoud. I sold part of my portfolio in May 2022, experiencing slight delays but nothing concerning at the time. However, in 2024, I came across numerous bad reviews about Mr. Gibson's operations, prompting me to retrieve my remaining items.
From the initial request to the final settlement (one of his methods is to pay in tranches), it took almost two months of constant "nagging" and follow-ups. Telephone calls were filled with empty promises, and email communication was almost non-existent.
I believe my smaller portfolio worked in my favour. In the end, I received my goods and money as agreed, but it was not a great ordeal.
While Mr Gibson may be attempting to run a legitimate business, ongoing investigations and many bad reviews make me wonder if he is not operating a type of Ponzi scheme.
