Poor service / not practicing good standards as per customer satisfsction
Worst company to deal with. Staff are incorpetant and waste your time with false information regarding your application. They are not honest from the beginning. Consultant Matt worse consultant to deal with His not trained in his profession and very rude.

Furious of how the company just debited my account even thought they are aware that i get my salary on the last day of the month.
My account was debited before my salary date, and the money the company took was sent to me by a friend so i could attend my uncle's funeral this weekend. I contacted the company on numerous dates asking them to run the debit order on my salary date. Now i have to make a loan from loan sharks because they decided to just go in my account and debit me even though I've given them a specific date which they should debit my account.

Don’t even bother!!!
****!! They just waste tour time with wanting your personal documents but there’s nothing they will help you with, don’t even bother !! Their employee Monique will make it seem as if she’s assisting but NOTHING!!!!

Questionable business practice.
So my previous complaint about this company had just been removed. This because I took them on about thhe fact that they are refusing to issue a letter stating that my account was written off by them years ago. They are thus deliberately preventing me having my name cleared from debt review. I had a legitimate reason for being unable to pay my loan, as I was declared medically disabled.They unfortunately feel it unnecessary to have a credit life insurance in place, just because the law does not prescribe it. They are now being vengefull and petty by not issuing a simple letter stating that my account was written off. Just remember, none of us knows what the future holds and if you have a loan with them and suddenly have a life altering event, you'll have no protection if you're unable to repay your account even your loved ones may be left to deal with debt. Be mindful of this, I also thought I was healthy and nothing would happen to me, until it did. I would recommend using a company that has credit life insurance in place to to ensure you're protected.

Be very careful when entering a loan agreement with this unscrupulous company. I had a lian with them. I fell I'll and was declared medically disabled. Subsequently lost my job. Was unable ta make further payments. I duly informed them of my situation and submitted proof. They had zero empathy with my situation and had no credit life insurance in place to protect myself and THEM from such unfortunate situation. Subsequently I was blacklisted, debt was written off as bad credit and now, years later the refuse to issue me with a letter stating that debt had been written of. I'm still not and will never be able to work again, but am trying to restore some dignity to my life by clearing my name from credit buro. So know this, Challenor finance are void of any ethical behaviour, have no good corporate governance ideology at all. They will through you to the vultures in a blink of an eye. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

Challenor Finance, highly dissapointed in service recieved with Settlement amount
I took a loan with Challenor Finance in February 2022 with Discount Decor in Denver JHB for the amount of R 10 000 with the entire repayment amount of about R 14737 over a 18 months period, I have made extra payments per month with my normal debit orders to be able to settle the account in less than 6 months, but after 4 months of paying the account I was ready to pay it up in full, hence I have already paid R 9052 in the last 4 months. I have requested today (27 May 2022) for a settlement amount and they have come back with a settlement amount still with all the interest as for the entire 18month period @ R 4768. I have asked them to relook at their sums, because how can they only give me just over R 900 off if I settle the account today. After phoning and complaining the Manager only gave me off till just over R 4000, are you for real, telling me it's all the fees and interest and and and. This is not how it works lady. I am really highly disappointed because if I knew this would have happend I wouldn't even consider it to take a loan with Challenor. As explained I have used Challenor to help me boost my credit score hence I needed to build a good credit, hence of the fact why I even tried to pay it off earlier, but clearly they are a institute that wants to milk you for every cent borrowed with all the interest given in day 1. Worst part is I don't recieve proper statements from them, plus I don't even have a full contract with them to explain all the terms and conditions. I also went directly to Discount decor today and paid for my new goods in cash (R 8500 to be exact). I had a pre approval already from Challenor for my next purchase of another R 15000 plus, but l will not complete the enquiry after what happened this morning. Sorry to say you have lost a good customer and I trully hope other people will not consider using you in future. I'm trully disappointed in your firm.

Challenor Finance are big Liars and Thieves!!!
I am disappointed with the service I received even from the vetting department. They requested info from me and yes I have missed out one of my expenses but they added another expense that I'm not aware off and say I have that kind of account on my name. AND STRAIGHT AWAY THEY DECLINED ME. This is utter nonsense!!! How can you guys as a company do fraud like that and blame it on the client?! This company is up to nonsense. CLIENTS OUT THERE PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AS THE ARE BIG THIEVES!!! I will never recommend such a low class business like this ever!!!

I am disappointed with the service I received even from the vetting department. They requested info from me and yes I have missed out one of my expenses but they added another expense that I'm not aware off and say I have that kind of account on my name. AND STRAIGHT AWAY THEY DECLINED ME. This is utter nonsense!!! How can you guys as a company do fraud like that and blame it on the client?! This company is up to nonsense.
