Factory faults that have resulted in severe repairs of a relatively new car - only 3 yrs old

3 year old car being repaired due to manufacturers fault

My 3 year chev cruze has undergone several repairs which includes waterpump, turbo and something converter and now they discovered that the engine is damaged. They have not given me a courtesy car despite my car being at the service centre for a full month. I do not feel safe driving such a 'repaired' car as a single woman. They are refusing to refund me or to give me a new car. What are my rights. I am incurring costs towards the taxi service.
