There is no zero-star rating but this is it. I took my car to Jeep in Midrand 7 times with the same issue, over a period of of 4 months. They kept making me pay for the same issue, and failed to provide me with a loan car after promising me so many times. The promises...the car sitting in the sun with no work taking placa (I stay close by)...and my struggles to take my child to school and get to work everyday. I have become a household name at AVIS, at my cost! WORST SERVICE OF MY LIFE. HERE IS TO THE END OF MY LOVE OF THIS AMERICAN CLASSIC. LET ME GET A CHINESE CAR NEXT!!!

A very useless brand. They can take up to 5 weeks to get you an expansion bottle. So we have to wait 5 full weeks to get a part. I can tell that Jeep sa management is playing.

I have a client who bought a Jeep Cherokee and it broke down 4 years ago and it was still under warranty and Jeep South Africa refused to fix it. The client was paying his last instalment on Friday for a car tha he has never driven in for years and it is parked at Jeep Somerset West. There has been compliance orders by the Ombudsman and Jeep South African ignored those orders and we and now preparing to go to an open court for a remedy. My client will have to s**** the car when he receives the papers after settling the finance for the car, since the car was not kept in a proper space for 4 years and it beyond wear and tear, the car is not usable. Jeep South Africa and don’t respect South African consumer protection laws and institutions are useless and toothless.

I have had an incredibly frustrating experience with Jeep Bedfordview and Stellantis over the past year. My car has been driving with a faulty transmission case, and despite a six-month battle with Motorite, the repairs were only approved in November 2024. However, Jeep Bedfordview failed to order the part in December, citing that Graham was on leave. After further disputes, the order was finally placed in January 2025. Despite my numerous calls to Stellantis and Motus Bedfordview, it took an additional five months for the part to arrive. The part was eventually delivered on 27th May 2025. I was informed by Victor Thom that the repair would take 2-3 days to complete. Given the extended delay, I requested a courtesy vehicle to manage my work and children's school runs while my car was being fixed. Today, I was told that no courtesy vehicles are available. This situation is reminiscent of the GPS system I paid for years ago, for which I was told there was no software available. Despite my repeated requests for a refund from Victor Thom, I have received no resolution, only empty promises. The lack of communication, delays, and overall poor service have been unacceptable. I expect immediate action to resolve these issues, including the provision of a courtesy vehicle and a refund for the GPS system.

It has been nothing short of a nightmare and total disregard for our plea! This is our third Jeep but definitely the WORST buy EVER! Our car has been in for the past two years for the exact same issues and yet the problem does not get solved. I need to speak to someone regarding our car. We’ve had this car for two years and I swear we got the rotten apple. Every other week or month I take the car in for the exact same issues. I have come to two conclusions, it’s either the technicians don’t work on the car or if they do, they don’t know what they’re doing. We bought it at Jeep Sandton. I got a call from the dealer principal but missed his call last week. He left a voice message and I’ve returned his call and left voice messages but he hasn’t made contact with me. I will escalate this matter! They keep staying that everything is sorted but the very next day, nothing seems to be fixed!

I have contacted Jeep South Africa several times about the upgrade of the maps in my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. All they do is take your details and say they will get back to you, which never happened. Their agents also just say that they cannot help and that I need to contact Jeep South Africa. Totally unacceptable.

A few weeks ago I contracted the call centre to inform them that I had bought a brand new Jeep Renegade from PMB dealership in September last year and I was having an issue starting the car. The battery had run down. Then only allowed me 2 call outs , and upon advising them that vehicle is under warranty and I could only get a booking available to take my car to the dealership to test the battery in a weeks time. They refused to allow there back up service to come out to assist me which I had to pay out of my pocket. Then only they would come out. They charged me knowing fully well that the vehicle is under warranty, the battery is under warranty. We had to pay for something which was the factory fault. Poor customer service from you'll. Only to find out after going to the dealership that the battery had a factory fault. I contacted Jeep South Africa to inform them of my situation, the lady that I spoke to listened to my story and never got back to me. I then contacted Jeep South Africa again to inform them of my situation. The moral of this is we have a choice when it’s comes to buying, we purchased a new car so that we won’t be in these type of situations to avoid us from having car trouble’s that why we purchased BRAND NEW !!! But because of poor customer service like this. I will never support the brand again. To be charged for something which is not my fault. JEEP HAS PUT ME off the brand !!!

I have a recall on my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee for a High Pressure fuel pump. The recall is 18 months old but it seems Stellantis and Jeep South Africa could not care less. Who will cover cost or damages if something goes wrong?
