Bad Service at Cinderella's Closet
<p>I went on opening day, the doors were locked and we had to be let in. The lady was rude, and none of the dresses had prices on. When asked the lady there couldn't tell any of the prices and said she would ask her boss to email me, 2 months later, still no email. When we asked if I could try on dresses I was told I had to pay R300 per dress I tried on, and if I bought the dress wouldn't get that money towards it. Very disappointed.</p>

31 May 2019, 14:02Ok well I only saw this review now. Surely there must be a way that a company can protect themselves against false reviews as this one. Especially when oppositions might try to damage your name by false reviews.
Never in our history of Cinderellas Closet existence, have we ever asked for R300 a dress fitting fee. So this is the first lie. We charge a R200 consultation fee for an hour where you can fit as many dresses you like. Never have we even had a R300 consultation fee so an hour not to mention per dress!!
Then been let in on opening day? Who in their right mind would lock their doors on opening day and you can't enter? Does this make sense? We had a security door in front where we opened from inside as this was for security purposes. I guess if we didn't have enough security for clients, We also would have received a review of BAD SECURITY. But when you would have rang the bell outside, the consultant would have opened the gate and you can just walk in. Why would the consultant be rude on opening day?? Makes no sense.
Our prices get negotiated on as some gowns get changed to the clients request and that all depends on what you want. So there won't be prices as we need to know what the bride wants and then we qoute accordingly.
And how on earth would the owner of a company not get back to a bride with prices if you know you could make a sale? 2 months?? No ways!!
My reponce: this must have been competition trying to destroy our name on opening at new premises (and not wishing us the best) or a pure drama queen that just likes to complain about everything.
We always give our best and we have discovered you can't keep everyone happy even if you try your best as there will always be something with some people. There will always be an untrue, unfair comment as dealing with people can be hard. But through it all have we had stunning clients that we loved working with and never had problems. Any person can also make mistakes as we have made mistakes but will always try and fix it. Was never the case that we didnt. And for them we will go the extra mile as we know they will appreciate it.
