Great hospitality, great stuff, great location and overall best of Jo'burg. One of the few authentic gems of Marshalltown still standing and making great food. True epitome of 'town'. The food is REALLY amazing, and their desserts such as the carrot cake is a must have, the service is good, with the kind of hospitality that you would expect at a high tier restaurant, with friendly staff.

Great hospitality, great stuff, great location and overall best of Jo'burg. One of the few authentic gems of Marshalltown still standing and making great food. True epitome of 'town'. The food is REALLY amazing, and their desserts such as the carrot cake is a must have, the service is good, with the kind of hospitality that you would expect at a high tier restaurant, with friendly staff.

Great music, 5 star service, delicious food
Excellent restaurant. The staff is very attentive and the steak was prepare according to our wishes. This café is in a well gentrified area of the inner city. The eye is bombarded with a million and one points of interest from the mosaic tile paving to the art deco facade of the neighboring buildings - it is indeed a beautiful spot.

bad, disgusting service
awful, disgusting service received and worst part was when my friend went to complain to the manager and she gave her attitude.. took about 45 minutes to have our order and was told they didn't have mint for one of our drinks... (did they only realise that after 45 minutes??)

Worst visit
Went to City Perks for my friends birthday lunch. Received the worst service ever and was only told after about a 45 minute wait they didn't have mint for a drink we ordered.
