My Jeep broke down near Oudsthoorn which seemed to be the Turbo on 6 March 2019. I contacted the insurance which towed the Vehicle for me. I phoned Classic Motors in Hartenbos as they worked on the vehicle before and was told it is fine I can bring the Jeep. When we got the Jeep there I was told it was the Turbo and had to be repaired. I asked them how long and they said if they can get another Turbo I can have the Jeep back the next day. I had to phone around the next day to find a Turbo and got someone to Re-con it for me. The person collected the Turbo and delivered back to Classic Motors the next morning. The Turbo was put back and when they went for a drive the Jeep went into Limb mode. The Jeep was then taken to the person who did the Turbo and found the Turbo to be blown again. The question was did they clean the entire system before they took it for a drive. Then the Jeep was repaired by Classif motors and they took it for a drive while I was waiting for it. The Jeep broke down again and had to be towed in. I was told it was the starter which had no problem before the time. I had to pay for a starter to be repaired. Got the Jeep back and found the starter was slipping. Took the Jeep to the person who repaired the starter and was then told it was the Bendix drive in the starter and I had to pay again. After requesting Classic Motors a few times a detailed invoice on what was done originally on the starter they do not want to give this to me and I have No proof for what is under warrantee. I also noticed when I got the Invoice from Classic motors I was charged for the Tow in when the Jeep broke down while they were taking it for a test drive. I also had to pay for a service which I did not request which they say they had to do because the Turbo blew. Any way we took a drive to fetch something in East Londen and we got stuck next to the road as the Jeep did not want to start. Classic Motors did not answer my phone calls. The person who did the starter said he can not yhelp us it is weekend. We were stuck outside of PE and I had to call break down. The person then told me it is the Ring Gear. When I told the person who repaired the Starter and Classic Motors I was told then there is nothing wrong with the starter I must have the Ring Gear replaced. My question they had the Jeep for 9 days. They diagnosed a starter problem which I had to pay to have repaired which then appeared to be a ring gear problem. I now find oil in the water and Classic Motors wants to replace the oil Cooler pump. This also just started after they had to fix a Turbo. I also had a problem on the driver window that while it was at Classic Motors for a service suddenly stopped working. Classic Motors said it was the meganism inside the door and it cost me R3500 to replace. Then my Central locking stopped working and the alarm system and No window wants to open and close. After asking them to look at it when the Jeep was there for the Turbo they never did and said even thow they had the Jeep for 9 days they did not have time to look at it.
