Clinix Health Group
Based on recent customer reviews, Clinix Health Group faces significant criticism across multiple facilities including Tshepo Themba, Botshelong, and Inkanyezi hospitals. Recurring complaints highlight rude and unprofessional nursing staff, poor hygiene standards, billing and admission classification errors, and prolonged waiting times with patients left unattended. Several reviewers described traumatic experiences during labour and ICU visits. Based on recent customer reviews, this business delivers a consistently strong customer experience anchored by outstanding agent quality and rapid communication. Customers frequently name individual consultants and praise their friendliness, patience, and professionalism. Recurring praise is given to claims and roadside assistance, though a vocal minority report frustrating delays, rejected claims, and poor transparency around premium increases.

I am writing to formally dispute the hospital bills issued to me following my admission at Tshepo Themba. I was initially admitted for overnight observation and discharged by the casualty doctor while still unwell. After raising my concerns with the nursing staff and matron, I was readmitted, and it was later discovered that I had serious medical issues involving my womb and colon. However, I have since learned that my readmission was incorrectly classified as an outpatient case. This misclassification has resulted in my medical aid refusing to cover the costs, leaving me with substantial bills across multiple departments. This situation is not due to any fault of my own, but rather the hospital’s administrative error in handling my admission status. I kindly request that the hospital correct this error by reclassifying my readmission as inpatient care, as was medically necessary, and resubmit the claim to my medical aid. Alternatively, I ask that the hospital take responsibility for the costs incurred due to this misclassification. Please provide written confirmation of how this matter will be resolved. I am prepared to escalate this issue to the Council for Medical Schemes and the Health Ombud if necessary, but I trust that the hospital will act fairly and rectify this situation promptly. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely,

Today at about 10:30,my brother was walking back home. He was hit by a clinic group taxi while walking on the side pavement. The driver then made a u-turn and came back to my brother who had fallen to the ground not to help him but to verbally assault him(with a few men that were in the taxi with him),then he had the nerve to pull a gun and point it at him. A few by standers managed to come to his rescue and stood by him and the cab driver got in with his accomplices and drove away!!! My brother was smart enough to take a picture of the taxi and we are definitely opening up a case on that hooligan.

I'm very upset and disappointed with the service here, I got admitted on the 27 Jan 2026 in the evening and I was told not to eat until I went to theatre the following morning. The following day came and I went to theatre after 2 so I didn't eat since... Fine on the 29 again I was stopped from eating in the morning for a procedure that has to be done the following day which doesn't make sense but I was told I had to, I was given luxatic or whatever meds to flush out my tummy.. Its 12:20pm and I'm still in my bed hungry, weak, dihydrated and exhausted. No Dr came to me nothing Very angry, I'm never setting foot here😤

On the 17th of January 2026, I lost my Uncle who was admitted at Tshepo Themba hospital in ICU ward. I understand that the are certain policies and procedures. When I arrived during visiting hours and seeing my Uncle condition getting worse I spoke to a Male Nurse by the name of Sfiso Zondo who had attitude that is out of this world. My Uncle was on life support and he couldn’t do much and Sfiso was the worst nurse to deal with. The incident happened on Friday the 16th and on the early hours of the 17th my Uncle passed. It was so painful because I had to beg for respect from this nurse which he didn’t care because that not his family sleeping in that bed. I wouldn’t recommend people to go there as what we’ve experience is the worst. Up to today I blame everything on Sfiso, maybe if he listened the pain could have been better. If this the service Tshepo Themba staff gives to patients then it should be changed from private to government hospital.

Dear Dr Burton Shinners I would like to take this time and give an applause one of your staff members, sister Makgotso Mashiane. On the 31 December 2025 my son was at casualty ward at Tshepo Themba clinix, she welcomed us with a warm smile, so humble, so caring and her interaction with us was on another level; she was explaining everything in detail, you could see and feel the passion in her for nursing. On the 25th January 2026, I was at casualty and this time it was me who was being admitted. The treatment was still the same, phenomenal. Sister Mashiane is true definition of a woman of character, a woman of nobility and a woman of character. I had lost faith in Clinix facilities, but she it back with a full bang. We need people like her in this society. May God bless her and keep for us. I thank you kindly

I was admitted at Tshepo Themba on th 2nd of November 2025 after an accident. I am truly grateful for the exceptional care provided by the ICU team at this hospital. From the moment we arrived, the staff demonstrated professionalism, compassion, and genuine dedication to their patients. Every nurse, doctor, and support staff member went above and beyond to ensure comfort, safety, and clear communication. The ICU team was attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient, always taking the time to explain procedures and answer questions. Their calm and confident approach made a huge difference, and it was clear that they prioritized both medical excellence and emotional support. The hospital environment was clean, well-organized, and supportive, creating a sense of trust and reassurance. I cannot thank them enough for the level of care provided.
