I started planning a surprise for my partner in the month of January. Paid a deposit and was told its secured. When I checked the invoice it said 2nd to the 4. So I emailed them. No response . called two different numbers no response. Finally a lady named Janet returned my call. And I explained to her to please correct my booking dated. From 1st to the 3rd in the Bahama, presidental suite, instead of 2rd to the 4th. In the month of April I mailed her again. She said everything is perfect.
After traveling and ho**** back riding. I was done. Drove to our reservation spot. After waiting 10 min for someone to open the gate for us. We called reception....no answer. We called the cell number, no answer. Ring the gate bell again. Out comes a lady wiping off her lunch from her face.
"Sorry we couldn't hear you. What is your reservation name." No there's nothing booked under that. Wait, what?
Finally opens the gate and leads us to the reception room for another lady to assist.
She response: No Cc. there's no reservation and the room you've book is fully booked. I answered and said, that it should be mine. She said, you should only arrive on the second. I showed her the emails on my phone because, they had no information on their side.
She goes on to explain when her colleague made the mistake. Sitting near my partner, I looked down and said surprise. I'm sorry for messing up your birthday suprise.
She told me there's nothing she can do. I was shattered. After all the planing.
I came up with the idea that she should book me into which ever room they have and the next day they'll move us to the presidential.
The extra money coming from the savings of down grading, will go to my spa treatment the next day. I settled my bill on that day via card payment.
She agreed, never aplogiesed.just kept telling that Janet was pregnant when she was busy with my booking🤷🏼♀
The next morning we got ready for the spa. Light breakfast and It took long . My hot chocolate was only bought to me when I was about to enter the spa suite. I had to gulp it down and sleep on a full belly.
The massage was defenatly the best part of this trip. I even tipped the ladies. Well done.
After that we were moved to the correct suite. As beining moved the maintances team decide to follow us. They had to check which part of the room to fix. He casually explained that its always fully book so we never get a chance to maintain.
I thought to myself. Why don't you close to maintain the building for the safety of its client, just 1 week for safety maintenance.
We went out for dinner.when we got back DSTV is stuck on 100. Asked the receptionist about it and never got back to me. For that last night we have no DSTV.
Even the heated pool was just not having it.
No words can explain what I feel about this 4 stars. Its a disappoint. And needs a lot of work before newer and younger celebraties will be wowed. Tighter work ethic as well. The industry is evolving. Try keeping up with the time and trendies.
