I would like to share my experience dealing with CMH Ford Ballito over the past few months. In August last year I had a reconditioned gearbox fitted on my 2014 Ford Ranger and this month I did a 260 000km service and had the alternator belt and tensioner replaced on the same vehicle. Between August last year to June this year I spent a total of R91,412.13 at CMH Ford Ballito but the service I received was absolutely terrible! There is a total disregard for customer satisfaction at CMH Ford Ballito and the only reason that I, like many other customers, have to put up with their BS, is because they are the only Ford Dealership closest to my location. I have been servicing and repairing my vehicle at Ford Ballito for the past ten years and mind you, there was a time when visiting the Dealership was an absolute pleasure...now it's a total nightmare! On my last visit, I dropped off my vehicle at the Dealership on the 9th of June, I contacted the Dealership yesterday, 26th of June, to inquire about my vehicle and was told that my vehicle was ready three days ago but they failed to communicate that to me.
What I see, is a pot brewing at the service department at CMH Ford Ballito and it is a mixture of incompetence, lack of communication, negligence and just a total disregard for customer satisfaction and if Ford S.A does not intervene and these people are left to their own devices, this pot is going to boil over.
