Hi everyone. the stress, the regret, the silence. I lost nearly $17,300 to what I thought was a legit trading platform. It was hard to accept, and even harder to explain to others. 52 years of loyalty to Colgate to be rewarded with a prize that dies not even work.
Nothing worse than being mislead by big corporations. Specially at this time of year when you really need a bit of help. Colgate have this registration process where you answer some questions and you agree to receive notifications. Now I wouldn't be so upset if I never used Colgate products but I think in my 52 years in this planet I gave used Colgate everyday of my life, be it soap, toothpaste and deodorant and many more and gave never ever received a ****y prize from them and then I get an email saying I gave won airtime with a voucher number that dies not work. I would have been happy with a R5 voucher or a tube of toothpaste to be rewarded for being totally loyal to the brand but rather be let down.

Colgate Palmolive Brings alot in recently noticed Colgate Toothpaste is coming from China. Why is China products being sold at a high price? Colgate famous smell & taste is gone,makes mouth smelly and dirty. Fong Kong China toothpaste? Customers might aswell go to China Mart and buy toothpaste in bulk at a cheap bulk PRICE. In February 2025, I purchased a multi-pack (5 tubes for around R80) from Checkers Sandton. I only started using one of the tubes last week, and I immediately noticed that something was wrong. The taste is unusual, and the texture feels off compared to the Colgate Salt I’ve always trusted. Most concerning is that it produces no foam when brushing, and my mouth does not feel clean or refreshed afterwards. It genuinely feels like I haven’t brushed my teeth at all. When comparing the new tube to the old one, the difference is huge: The color of the paste (blue and white) looks different The consistency and performance are not the same The packaging feels low-quality There is no fresh feeling after use, unlike before This experience has been very disappointing. I’ve used Colgate for years, and this is the first time I’ve questioned whether a product is authentic or defective. I feel stuck with multiple tubes I now cannot use. Help me get this Colgate batch out of the stores
I’ve been a loyal user of Colgate Total 12 Advanced Whitening for several years without any issues — until now. On May 14th, I purchased two tubes from Checkers that had a slightly different appearance than usual. I started using one on May 15th and immediately noticed something was off. The toothpaste smelled like that strong red antiseptic ointment and had a strange aloe-like taste — very unlike the fami**** product I've trusted for years. At first, I thought maybe it was just a new formula and tried to get used to it. However, by May 17th, my tongue began to feel extremely dry and almost sc****d, as if I had used something abrasive. The next day, things took a frightening turn: not only was the dryness worse, but I had completely lost my sense of taste and have cuts in my tongue. That’s when I stopped using the product and switched back to my previous toothpaste — but the damage was already done. As of now, I still cannot taste anything and have the cuts. I tried to report this directly to Colgate through their website, but when I clicked on “Email Us,” I received an error message. This is deeply concerning. I’m now left with a lingering health issue and no clear way to contact the company for help or answers. If others are experiencing similar symptoms, I urge them to speak up. Something may be seriously wrong with this batch, and it needs to be investigated immediately.

This is dangerous misinformation by Colgate
There's an advert that Colgate flights on YouTube , where a lady states that 90% of kids don't know how to brush teeth. This is dangerous misinformation, when was this study conducted, which areas were monitored?? And it's only black kids that she's talking about as they are the only kids depicted in this advert. Second to this Colgate's advet on an app that shows how people have yellow teeth, why is it only black people there?? Are you implying that only black people have yellow teeth??

This is dangerous misinformation, when was this study conducted, which areas were monitored?? And it's only black kids that she's talking about as they are the only kids depicted in this advert. Colgate floss rebranded and of poor quality
Your rebrand and quality of your Colgate total mint waxed dental floss is a disaster. I used to buy this every month and loved it. With the new rebrand, the floss is thicker, less wax and breaks easily. Keeps getting stuck between teeth. Its horrific. The old floss worked magic. I have had to change to another brand. Done with Colgate total Floss. Quality has deteriorated.
