I paid a deposit on 24 December 2025 believing I was purchasing a CompTIA Security+ exam voucher, as CollegeSA markets itself as a CompTIA partner. Instead, I purchased a course, not the exam and could access course materials even without registering. When requesting a refund, I was asked to sign a registration form and provide additional documents, which contradicts the purpose of cancellation. This morning I received a call from someone named Juan asking why I was cancelling, which felt unnecessary and irrelevant. They were open to refunding me, now I'm being told I was supposed to send through my registration form? How because I am not interested in that and therefore I won't be refunded and instead I owe them. I sent the registration form yesterday and now they are going to use that for irrelevant reason.
At no point prior to payment was I informed of a 7-day refund or cooling-off policy. Their insistence on this window is being app**** retroactively and unfairly. The shifting requirements and inconsistent communication have made the refund process confusing and obstructive.
I caution prospective students to clarify exactly what they are paying for before committing.
