I am extremely dissatisfied with the experience I had with CompTIA’s OnVUE online testing platform. I was scheduled to write a CompTIA exam using the OnVUE application, and the process failed entirely due to what appears to be serious flaws in their system. The application repeatedly flagged my upload speed as being below 1MB, despite the fact that I was connected to a high-speed fibre internet connection with a 5G backup. To verify this, I ran multiple speed tests using other applications, all of which confirmed that my internet connection was stable and well within the required limits. In an effort to resolve the issue, I restarted my internet connection, rebooted the modem, and ensured that only one computer was connected to the network. None of this made any difference. What is particularly frustrating is that when I used CompTIA’s system test with the provided dummy code, everything worked without issue. However, as soon as I accessed the actual exam link, the system suddenly failed, with no clear explanation or support provided. As a result, I lost my exam attempt and the full exam fee. I was not given the option to reschedule, nor was any reasonable assistance offered. This lack of flexibility and accountability is unacceptable, especially given the cost of these exams. The entire experience left me feeling misled and unfairly treated. This serves as a serious warning to anyone considering taking a CompTIA exam online. Ensure that your system meets not only the stated requirements, but also the platform’s inconsistent and unreliable checks. Had I known this would happen, I would have chosen to write the exam at a physical testing center instead of relying on a deeply flawed online system.

Dear CompTIA Support Team, I am reaching out for urgent assistance regarding an issue with a CompTIA exam voucher purchased from one of your authorized partners, Rosebank College. On November 26, 2024, I purchased two CompTIA exam vouchers from Rosebank College. However, despite multiple attempts to obtain them, I only received the vouchers on December 9th after escalating my concerns publicly. I was assured via email that both vouchers were valid for one year. I successfully used the first voucher on December 12th without any issues. However, when I attempted to use the second voucher on February 6th—just two months after receiving it—It had already expired. Since then, I have made multiple attempts to contact Rosebank College via email and phone, but I have not received any meaningful response. The administrator who initially assisted me acknowledged my email but has since stopped responding to my follow-ups. This situation is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. I still have my N+ exam to get through. As Rosebank College is an official CompTIA partner, I am seeking CompTIA's intervention to resolve this matter. Please advise on the next steps to either reinstate my expired voucher or provide a replacement. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your response.

Hi,

My name is Vukani Khulani Khumalo I used to attend classes at Varsity College Durban North Campus from the year 2008 to 2009 studying Diploma In IT Networking. My student number was 31-19168 and I was in Rene Davids class in my 2nd year and Alan Moonsamy in the 1st. I couldn't complete my 2nd year because of financial reasons and later on during the year my mom past away. Someone from varsity college head office called me with regards to paying my varsity fees and I explained that my mother had past away so they made me fax her death certificate so that the outstanding fees would be written off and all is fine.

I would like to know if I could get a certificate for the first year I did. As I did pass my ComTIA A , N , S , Helpdesk, End User Computing, Business Communication. This would help me a lot as I'm trying to find employment so I can continue studying. I tried to contact CompTIA but wasn't able to get through to anyone.

I have attached a copy of my ID and my 1st year results.

I have since tried to contact my varsity HOD and she was unable to help me. Please assist.

I just need to speak to someone who can help me.

Regards

Vukani Khulani Khumalo

Cell 0731229721
