If I could give a rating below 1 Star I would. I honestly have never dealt with a company that is so disorganized and where the owners treat their employees and clients with a lack of professionalism, respect and a level of childishness I have never seen before.
I had 3 pre-orders with them in the following order: Dementor Iron Studios - PAID IN FULL Hermione DLX Iron Studios - Paid Deposit and then some Dumbledore DLX Iron Studios - Paid a nice chunk of the overall price.
I was informed by Brandon or Brett- they change the person in-charge of the Iron Studios orders so frequently I can't even remember which one - that I needed to make payment in FULL for The Dementor statue as it would be arriving in 4-6 weeks back in APRIL 2023. Payment was made in full as requested- fast forward to FEBRUARY 2024 and I still hadn't received my statue. When I would try to follow up - I was met with - "When we have information from the supplier we will let you know." CONSTANTLY FOR ALMOST A YEAR.
About two weeks ago I was contacted by Karyn, one of the owners, informing me that I had to pay the remainder on the Dumbledore statue - bearing in mind that this was the LAST statue I had pre-ordered. How can I make payment in full AGAIN when I hadn't received The Dementor statue, and it looked like the Hermione statue had just disappeared.
Karyn then informed me that she would get into contact with the supplier - however she never kept me posted with what she said or how long it could potentially take to get feedback.
At this point after waiting about 3 or 4 days without getting a response - not even an acknowledgment of the messages I had sent her - I managed to get through to her PA - who informed me that she would get into contact with me.
Surprise , surprise - who contacts me - not Karyn - but Shane - the other owner. I then proceeded to tell him that I wasn't happy as I was being messed around by his company - he then - in typical Shane fashion - proceeded to scream and swear at me left, right and centre - wanting to know who had given me Karyn's "personal" number etc ... I told him I got it from the Iron Studios group were she was an admin and I had receipts and screenshots to prove it - which was sent to him.
Long story short - he was telling me some sob story about how Brett was ****ming them out of money - and how Brett never gave me the correct price on the Dementor statue - when in actual fact - it was an ex-employee who had done the pre-order for me - at the time I didn't even know who Brett was. This was an example of his need to blame shift onto their employees - which is something he likes to do - instead of taking responsibility for the business practises happening under their roof.
I requested a refund - I got it - after having to remind Shane to do so - and again - I received no correspondence from Shane or Karyn or ANY of their staff - that the refund had been processed.
ALL IN ALL - I will never support this company again - and I advise those willing to read this review to do the same. I honestly don't know how they have a rating above 1 Star but it also seems - based off of other reviews I have read - that this behaviour from Karyn and Shane - seems to be the norm.
I also find it funny that throughout the reviews I have read - where a customer was dissatisfied - Shane's number is given in an attempt to sort out the grievance. Yes - contact him to get sworn to Hogwarts and back and receive the "best" customer service from THE BUSINESS OWNER.
