Recently moved from Linden to Morningside, but what a fantastic butchery. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff who can provide you exactly what you need to enjoy a great braai. It is clean, well spaced, and very well priced with a wide variety of products to choose from, all of which are fresh.

Exceptional Service, Great Meats
Recently moved from Linden to Morningside, but what a fantastic butchery. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff who can provide you exactly what you need to enjoy a great braai. It is clean, well spaced, and very well priced with a wide variety of products to choose from, all of which are fresh.

Brilliant service received
I placed an online order on the 19/08/2021, sent my proof of pymnt on the morning of the 20/08 and received delivery on the same day. Now this is outstanding service. My order was fresh, neatly packaged and boxed, Country Meat Butcheries service and expertise is highly commendable. In this day and age good customer service has become a thing of the past but not with Country Meats, from placing your online order(their website is so easy to use), to email communication, to delivery everything is outstanding, you guys are awesome.

Brilliant service received

Very good quality meat and very friendly service
The meat from here is to quality along with excellent service. Meat and some condiments and barbecue supplies. Great quality from the farm. The butcher will also prepare to your liking. Plenty of variety - rumps fillets farm fresh chickens.

BE VERY CAREFUL
This business actually is a butchery, but when one of their vehicles broke down, they came to our workshop to repair their truck. Because we know them and they are in the very same town, we thought it would be okay to release their truck, BIG MISTAKE. They refuse to pay us; according to us the vehicle went out of our yard 100% and according to them it did not; they did not complain about anything that was faulty etc, only about after a month when we asked payment for repairs done, they said that they don't think we will see the money since they had to take out a big amount out of their own pockets for repairs on the very same truck we repaired. We asked them prove to show that the truck was in for repairs somewhere else and they did sent us proof but that is not the problem. The problem is that they did not complain after taking the vehicle, not for a day, weeks until they were phoned for payment. In fact if you repair your vehicle somewhere and find it faulty, why not notify the owner immediately but no, they waited and the result is, NO PAYMENT.

Wow! What a great experience
<p>On Sunday 29 May, we decided to go through to Sloane Meat Market, needless to say it was utterly disappointing. We had parked in the Epsom Downs and shopping centre and noticed Country Meat so we decided to have a look. We spent a good 10 minutes browsing your unbelievable selection of meat. We grabbed a basket and started shopping. With friendly staff offering us assistance (again) to the awesome selection of meats we did our meat shop for the week. Tonight we had the skinny lamb sausages which were tender, delicious and flavoursome. The only disappointing thing is now they are finished and we just want more :). Looking so forward to cooking the other yummy looking goodies we bought. You will definitely see us again! </p>
