I first stumbled across Dandibids when I saw a notification on Google Chrome that I won a free cellphone with Google Chrome and I need to pay a $2 shipping fee. I was foolish to believe this but did because I spent a fortune advertising with Google Adwords so I thought they decided to give me something for a change but was wrong because Dandibids was hidding somewhere like a criminal waiting to attack. I did not register but was billed for a subscription fee, tried many times to get answers but the only reply that I received from accounts departments was that they \cannot find me on their system so cannot comment"on why they are stealing $100 at a time from my account. After cancelling my card I was then charged on my new card which I still haven't taking out of the packaging"

Hi,<br> <br> I have done an online survey and supposedly got a reward.<br> The reward was to pay only R24 for a Samsung Galaxy Y and a Canon Power Shot for another R24. <br> The next thing I knew, an amount of R636 went off my card but, do you think I can get hold of these people? NO! I have sent 3 mails in the last 10 days, with no response at all.<br> Then I read an article about a woman with the same problem and she actually got hold of them.<br> They said that by taking the reward, she was accepting a platinum membership - which is not stated ANYWHERE! If it were I wouldn't have done it to begin with.<br> Further, I have checked online and only my transactions are there. <br> It has no mention of the fact that I am now a \Platinum Member"or the costs that they have taken off for it.<br> This company needs to be stopped.<br> <br> Thank you<br> <br> Heather """

I was looking at a promotion on Takealot's website when a window popped up which said that you could by a camera for a R24.00 if you complete a survey. I did the survey and paid the R24.00 by credit card online. I did not however read the fine print (my mistake) I do however believe that they should be more upfront or clear when it comes to automatic deductions from your account. The fine print actually states t hat you are liable for a monthly subscription of R1201.00. I only noticed this after the event.<br> Please just be aware of these scams.

On the 16th January 2015, I won and paid for an mens watch that was on auction. Dandy Bids lead time is 2-4 weeks for delivery. To this day, 27th February 2015, I have not received my item. When I purchased an promotional item on confirming my membership with them, they conveniently had an excuse that I forfeit the promotional item because I took to0 long to confirm my membership. I did the survey online and then this qualified me for the promotional item on the 8th December 2014. I then paid for my membership on the 24th December 2014, but paid for the item on the 23rd December 2014. This is less than 3 weeks in between. Even if I forfeit the item, where is my money? There was no communication or indication from them that there is a deadline. Secondly, I have been asking them (via email) where is my delivery, but get the silent treatment. I have won a tablet on auction as well, but I am very reluctant to pay, because these guys do not sound like a reputable company. I do not advise anyone to bid or purchase from Dandy Bids. I do not think they are to be trusted.
