Steam Hair Iron from Daniakof Africa
I ordered a steam hair iron online for R499. First of all I waited about a month to receive my item which I did not have a problem with. When I received my iron it was not as the one which was advertised of facebook for R499. I opened the item and decided to use it, only to find out it does not steam as the one shown on facebook. I have emailed them many times with the pics of my product and the pics of the one which was advertised and still no response. Very disappointed.

Dishonest company- selling no name inexpensive products as special luxury good - what arrived instead are no name $19 hair straighteners that Daniakof do not manufacture and the product does not work at all - switches on once and never again. No contact emails- no refunds - they’ll give an address to return‘faulty’ item to except that the return address is the next unsuspecting customer- it’s definitely a dubious page. Please do not fall for the advertising- no product exists called Daniakof- they’ll take your money and post you no name inexpensive products that don’t work.

I placed an order for a straightening brush. Went to the site on Facebook after stupidly placing the order and it is full of complaints and people saying they have been struggling to contact this company. Tried to cancel the order using their email address info@daniakof.co.za but everything bounced back. Tried their Contact Form and absolutely no response. Today (24.2.2021) I get an email to say my order is on its way! A lady by the name of Krystle Stacey who has warned people not to order from this site. Seems that the purchases are not what people think they are and there have been cases of the item blew up 15 minutes into using it. It appears they have blocked people who have given them bad reviews and all round it seems there is a major issue with this company.

Daniakof Africa is a SCAM!! Below is a reply from Simon (of Daniakof Africa and another company Inshapeofyou) Hello, We do not produce this product, we resell it. For example When you go to Clicks Pharmacy and buy a straightener or other equipment, do you think the brand is Cliks? Kind regards In other words- Daniakof Africa - DO NO REPLACE FAULTY 19$ HUI HAO hair straighteners that they falsely advertise as Daniakof products in Daniakof packaging on their website but actually the product is an inexpensive and inefficient item that blows up 5 minutes after you plug it in?? I cannot say strongly enough PLEASE DO NOT BUT THESE ITEMS - they don’t work, won’t be repaired or replaced nor refunded ! ITS A SCAM!!

Terrible customer service! Advertised French products however inexpensive Chinese products arrive, if you’re lucky after 3 to 4 weeks and don’t work. No replies to emails- no refund process- no return process and when you do finally track down a contact person (via Facebook after posting on their review site) you are told they will not help you further- Please do not order from this site - it definitely is a scam ladies!!

Daniakof Africa dissapoints
So I bought a product online from Daniakof, paid and never received it. They botched my delivery address and I have sent 3 messages to them via their website and am still waiting for a response. You cannot respond to their initial confirmation email. Bottom line, I absolutely do not recommend Daniakof for online shopping.
