I few months ago I bought a pre-owned car from Dart Motors. After driving the vehicle for a while I started noticing that the engine uses excessive water and occasionally emits a with a white smoke coming out the exhaust pipe on warm starts. This problem became increasingly serious and I had the car thoroughly inspected by a qualified mechanic. The final verdict was 1- Best scenario: The head gasket probably needs replacing. 2- Worst case scenario: Cylinder head was cracked. These are not necessary engine defaults that can be easily noticed with standard tests and inspections. Very worried I contacted Dart Motors with this news. I was pleasantly surprised to find a very friendly, committed and helpful team on my side. They agreed to cover the cost of the repairs. After pressure testing the cylinder head it transpired that it indeed was cracked. The original quote skyrocketed to a what became a very expensive repair job but Dart Motors stayed committed and kept to their word. The car in now fully repaired and drives like a dream. Dart Motors went above and beyond their legal obligation towards me and I have nothing but praise for their excellent customer service and integrity. Thank you Geoff, Justin and Cecilia.
