I have bought stuff online from Dashing Fashion. When I received it I didn’t like 2 of the items I bought because of the poor quality. I have send them an email requesting a return within a 7 days after receiving the parcel, and they did not get back to me. After an whats App they responded “ Hi u can send it back with ur own courier or bring it back in store on ur cost thanks” I did just that. I took photos of the box and return and send it with the tracking number via WhatsApp. After a day or two I asked them if they receive my parcel and I got no response. After 5 days that I had confirmation that they have received the parcel they still did not get back to me after another WhatsApp. I then went on social media and asked on all their posts that they have time for about my refund. I only then got a response from them after one of the other branches tagged them in my comment on their page. They then send me a coupon because they don’t do refunds. As my customer rights, I requested a full refund in cash and that one of my relatives will pick it up. The responded and said they don’t keep cash at the shop and I can exchange it for something else. I told them I don’t want anything else. And they’re response was “OK WAIT TILL YOU WANT SOMETHING “
They are going agains the consumer rights for online shopping. It is your right to request a full refund! If they don’t want to you can report them at the NATIONAL CONSUMER COMMISSION. https://www.thencc.gov.za/sites/default/files/u2/Complaint%20Form%20%202018.docx Don’t let them get away with this! They just want your money! They don’t care about the customer or if they are happy!!!
