2025-12-02 The Team sold me a PC upgrade component and followed-up by kindly installing it, lest I encounter technical complications. My PC runs much faster than previously so I am very happy with their exceptional service.

I am writing you this review with a profound sense of dissatisfaction and betrayal concerning your product and particularly your disheartening after-sales service. Just under a year ago, I purchased an inverter from your esteemed organization. However, my faith in your product's capability and your company's credibility has been deeply shaken due to a recent incident. The aforementioned inverter, barely 11 months into its use, experienced a catastrophic and inexcusable failure, burning out and becoming entirely useless. Ensuing the mishap, in good faith, I promptly sent the defunct inverter back for repair under the warranty, expecting a swift resolution to the problems brought on by your defective product. Tragically, the aftermath has only been a series of aggravating disappointments and excuses from your end. Rather than acknowledging and making up for your product's deficiency, your representative had the audacity to inform me that the company wouldn't be replacing the faulty inverter due to it being near the completion of its warranty period. This absurd conclusion baffles me as I would expect a company of your stature to honor its warranty till the last day. In addition to the above, your representative mentioned a lack of necessary components to repair the damaged product, and unbelievably, there's no estimated time of arrival for these parts! It's already been three painstakingly long weeks since I sent in the inverter, yet I am left with nothing but a list of your company's inadequacies. Let me remind you that behind each purchase is a customer's trust, a faith that has been severely undermined by your staggering incompetency. To say that your aftermarket service is non-existent would be putting it mildly. It's more like a void, a hollow promise, a facade that leaves us, your customers, neglected and helpless. Given these circumstances, I find it difficult, if not impossible, to further patronize your business or to recommend it to my networks. I had higher expectations, not just of the product, but also of how a business should treat its customers, particularly when its product falls short of advertised standards. I urge you to promptly rectify this situation, by either providing a replacement for the malfunctioning inverter or getting it repaired without any more delay. It's high time you validated your customer's trust, instead of pushing them away with your unapologetic and lackadaisical approach.

I am not sure what went wrong at DC3 Distribution - but this is the worst service I have ever experienced from them. A backlight keyboard for my Dell Laptop Vostro 3700 was ordered with them - 12 April 2021 - with an estimate 4 to 5 week for delivery. On the 25th May (6 weeks after order) I made an email enquiry to two people - Ricardo Moreira - same guy that placed the order and JP Marais. No response whatsoever. On the 01st June I made another email enquiry - one week after the previous enquiry - again to both of them. No response again. On the 07th June JP Marais eventually decided to respond - only to inform me that the keyboard is expected to arrive later this week. Needless to say I cancelled the order and will source the unit through a different supplier. This kind of service is not acceptable to in today's business world - and I have bought all my personal computer equipment through them for quite some time. What happened to keeping a customer informed on the status of his order when enquiries are made?? And definitely not only 2 weeks later after initial enquiry. DC3 pull up your socks - you guys have always been great with customer service - but it has gone for a ball of ............ Not happy at all - and I have lost faith in you. Regards Pieter du Toit

I placed an order for 2 computer upgrades and the whole process was smooth, efficient, and pleasant. DC3 arranged to collect the computers and some new parts, assembled the systems, and dropped them off with me once done. The whole process took less than 3 days. Morne, the salesperson, was really great to deal with and was patient and very helpful. He matched the prices of companies who provided lower prices and provided good feedback. The computers worked as soon as I powered them on. I've placed several orders with DC3 and have received great service each time. They are consistently good and a pleasure to deal with.

One of the two sales assistants on duty (who looked about fourteen years old) did not answer his emails half the time. All I wanted was a quote for some new parts. I am still waiting for a reply.

I am very impressed that they are willing to go the extra mile when needed. They stay after business hours to help clients. They assist to the best of their ability and will try every possible scenario to reach a solution to the problem given to them.
