Application Unsuccessful
Good Day I'm Mrs Prince Mother Of Tyga Prince This would be the 2nd time applying for my son at this school which is in our area It goes like this 2023 I app**** for my son at De Kuilen Primary for GrR For 2024 Keep I'm mind we 5min away from the school I app**** online on WCED When I followed up to findout why my son was unsuccessful I was told by Ms Bester That His "Immunization Card" was not uploaded Now you tell me if that's a valid reason to decline a kid According to my knowledge and application I did upload the Immunization card anywoo...I let it slide and and had too seek a other school for my kid 2025 I app**** again for 2026 For Grade 1 2nd time around he was unsuccessful According to The System and Ms Bester they oversubscribed and give 1st privilege to The GrR's who's currently there,which I understand But come on you cannot give 100% privilege to the kids currently there,what about us that's applying from outside Anyway I contacted Ms Bester and she told me to contact her again on the 20th June 2025 to confirm whether my son has a spot or not I called her and according to Ms Bester The SGB did not yet have their meeting I was told again to call on the 24th of June 2025 Now you tell me who's going to have a meeting two days before the school closed.... Keep in mind my sister had the same problem with her kid She was forced to put her kid else where Why are we not given the privilege to put our kids in the schools in their areas!!!!!

Education system
As Dekuilen Primary is my closest school and and there is no school in kuilsriver that we fall in the Area A. Our daughter was declined and when appealing the decline she was declined again. Yet there is children close to us that were accepted. The principal refuses to have a meeting with me as the generic information email was sent has confused me more that answering any questions. The principal has refused to meet with me and up till now I have not gotten a response as to why my daughter was decline. It cant be on location as people in the same area had their children accepted and if it's merit a child living in the same area at the same daymother with the same grades was accepted. How fair is that? So now I need to run around and find a school that I cannot afford because the education system failed my daughter and denying her an education because all 4 schools we applied at declined us.
