De Tyger Pools full of empty promises
I paid the deposit of R3000 in November and the job that was suppose to be done in 1 week still isn't funished. After many promises calls and messages are ignored. Eben gives a good impression but unfortunately his promises means nothing.

Warning: DE TYGER POOL CENTRE requests a deposit then never do the job or pay back the money
I saw the ad for De Tyger Pools on Facebook. I am a big supporter of small businesses and I wanted to support him and not one of the big pool guys. The owner Eben ( who seemed like a really nice guy) was quick to come to my property to look at the crack in my pool. He submitted a quote and requested a deposit to be paid ASAP. I paid the deposit mid December 2018 to ensure he start the job on 14 Jan 2019. He never pitched the 14th. He came to my house ONCE without any material or anything. He left again with a promise to start in the next day or two. After several whatsapps and phone calls he had an excuse that he could not find a bladder to store the water. A week later he still haven't started. Two weeks later I was still waiting and he was avoiding my calls and messages. I eventually got hold of him and he promised to pay back the deposit that Friday. He never paid it back. Its now 7 weeks later, SEVERAL lies later, and I do not have my R3000 deposit back and the job has not been done. My pool is leaking water and he is walking around with my money. I would not encourage anyone to make use of his services, unless he does the job first and you pay him afterwards. Its sad that you cannot trust people anymore. This is now going to cost me a lot more than R3000.00 in legal fees but I would like to save everyone else money. Please do not make use of him as he is, unfortunately, dishonest and not able to commit to his promises. I had several other jobs at friends houses lined up for him but his dishonest business ethics is costing him all those jobs.

DON'T USE DE TYGER POOLS
I paid Eben to do two jobs for me. Both are not done. I gave him extension after extension after extension and all I got in return was lies, tall stories, how they were on other jobs (clearly my jobs were not important or my money not as good as the other peoples). Their work is half done, inconsistent and shoddy. Don't ever use them.

Pool Unfinished
Meet with Eben in June 2015 regarding relining my pool. He started pumping water out 25 July 2015. Signed a contract, gave him 50% deposit. Put tiles on sometime in Oct 2015, Before filling up pool with water, i told him the tiles were peeling off. He told me not to worry about that, he will come and fix them (redo), he will just need to take out some of the water. I paid him, he asked me if I am sure regarding the money, i said yes, i trust him. Whatsapp messaging went on for about a month regarding the tiles, every time I was promised he was coming. Last communication from Eben regarding pool was 14 Dec 2015 promising me he will do it before Christmas. I currently also have a hole in the pool as well. This has gone on for nearly 7 months. I have all the whatsapp messaging from Nov-Dec 2015 regarding communication between me and Eben. His address is 61 Oldham Street, Parow, 021 911 0826, [Email Removed] cell no 062 317 8135
