THIS IS THE WORST PLACE WE'VE BEEN TO. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. My wife and I visit guest houses and hotels all the time, all over the world. This is probably our first rating under 4 stars, and the first place we didn't like.. why? As Le Reve deserves nothing better than ZERO STARS! I wanted to suprise my wife with a lovely weekend away at a "Boutique Hotel" ... but ended up staying at such a ***** place! WE CHECKED OUT AFTER ONE NIGHT! Please note that the rooms on the website and social media are NOT the room you will get. The room we stayed in is not a boutique hotel room. It is at best a cheap BACKPACKER ROOM and that is if you want to insult a backpackers! Here are some facts: (PLEASE READ THESE FACTS BEFORE BOOKING) ****roaches are crawling around! Lots of mosquitoes in the room! No hot water! Shower is DISGUSTING, there was something growing on the walls and floor! Even old soap stuck to the floor which obviously means it was not cleaned. Human or animal excretion on pillows and curtains. Loud noises (music, dogs, voices) coming from restaurant upstairs while trying to sleep. Dog threatened to bite my wife, later read online that the owner or managers dog bit someone so bad that they had to go to hospital. Pool very dirty, not clean as advertised. Paintings were skew, toilet not flushed, and the 1 poor single bedlamp was not even plugged in, it was as if they tried their best to make the place look bad. Someone broke into the property while we were sleeping, luckily not into our room as we had valuable items in our room. Tiles were cracked. Some lights were broken and flashing on and off. There was a bad smell, as if they were trying to hide a bad odour. I really urge guests not to go to this place as I can guarantee you, this place does NOT live up to the standards advertised. Please be aware that you will not get what you pay for and that you will find much places better anywhere else in the nearby vicinity. We checked out after the first night as it was a truly bad experience. They promised us a refund, I've waited almost 2 months and still havent received our refund, we get random excuses every week and are now at the point where our lawyers have taken over. SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND EFFORT, DON'T VISIT THIS PLACE.
I saw the ad for De Tyger Pools on Facebook. I am a big supporter of small businesses and I wanted to support him and not one of the big pool guys. The owner Eben ( who seemed like a really nice guy) was quick to come to my property to look at the crack in my pool. He submitted a quote and requested a deposit to be paid ASAP. I paid the deposit mid December 2018 to ensure he start the job on 14 Jan 2019. He never pitched the 14th. He came to my house ONCE without any material or anything. He left again with a promise to start in the next day or two. After several whatsapps and phone calls he had an excuse that he could not find a bladder to store the water. A week later he still haven't started. Two weeks later I was still waiting and he was avoiding my calls and messages. I eventually got hold of him and he promised to pay back the deposit that Friday. He never paid it back. Its now 7 weeks later, SEVERAL lies later, and I do not have my R3000 deposit back and the job has not been done. My pool is leaking water and he is walking around with my money. I would not encourage anyone to make use of his services, unless he does the job first and you pay him afterwards. Its sad that you cannot trust people anymore. This is now going to cost me a lot more than R3000.00 in legal fees but I would like to save everyone else money. Please do not make use of him as he is, unfortunately, dishonest and not able to commit to his promises. I had several other jobs at friends houses lined up for him but his dishonest business ethics is costing him all those jobs.
Can I give ZERO STARS?? We have 2 trucks on the Matrix tracking system. (in the process to add 5 more vehicles) Three weeks ago the one truck mysteriously disappeared from the online tracking platform. I contacted Matrix several times without being able to get through (and I e-mailed them) Eventually I got hold of them and they promised to fix it. A couple of days later it was still not fixed. In fact - BOTH trucks were removed from the online tracking platform. This is a big problem as we must constantly update clients on how far their deliveries are. I called Matrix again ( ********** 090), after about 6 unsuccessful calls, several voice messages (some marked as urgent) I finally came through to the support team. They asked me to hold the line while they fix the problem. I was holding for 45 minutes where after I put the phone down and the problem was still not solved! I then messaged them via their website inquiry form, attempted to chat online (no-one responded at all) I messaged them on Facebook and wrote on their wall. NO SUCCESS AT ALL!!! I then decided to call them one last time. They put me through to the same guy who made me hold for 45 minutes. He asked me to hold again and I told him no, I can't stay on the line for almost an hour. He promised me and guaranteed me t won't be the case, in fact he will call me back in a couple of minutes. It is now 24 hours later - I received NO CALL BACK, the problem is STILL NOT FIXED, neither of my trucks are showing movement on the online map. For a company with a slogan "RIGHT BY YOUR SIDE" I find you extremely contradicting. You have one responsibility and that's to make sure my trucks can be tracked online. You can't even do this! When it comes to ordering your service its easy as you get money from it, I see you as money hungry corporates who gives a damn for small businesses that is relying on you! I am so tired of battling with this. If the trucks now get stolen my insurance won't pay out and we won't be able to find the trucks. The drivers must now be on their phones every other minute to update us on their locations. This is not safe at all but hey, what do you care. I regret signing up with Matrix / Mix Telematics Africa. Everyone be warned - DO NOT USE THEM!!!! I will make sure everyone I know that needs a tracking device make use of someone else. Its been TWO WEEKS since my 1st phone call and THREE WEEKS since my 1st e-mail, how pathetic must you be to not resolve an issue in 3 weeks?
