Refund outstanding
I apply for debt counsalting on the 19 .01 2021 then Martin Snyman told me there is papers outstanding then i send it again.On the 25.01.2021 he told me there is still papers outstanding .I told him to stop this .On the 26.012021 he told he cant not stop this. On the 26.01 .2021 there is n amount of R10900 out of bank .On the 27.01.2021 i fhone him several times no anser.Martin never send n proposal for fnb to paid off my loans and overdraft and creditcard .On the 28.01 2021 there is n debit order from Debth abilty R4600 but there is no money in my bank.On the 30.01.2021 i thry to fhone Matin no anser. On the 01.02 2021 to the 09.02 2021 thry to get hold of Martin he said to he will come back to me. I am looking for a papers 7.2 to stop

In general we wish to reiterate that debt counselling is a statutory process to assist consumers who are unable to meet monthly debt repayment obligations. It is a paid service and the process is provided for in legislation.
The timeline of the debt review process is prescribed, in short as follow, bearing in mind we refer to work days, not calendar days
Day 1 - Consumer apply for debt review
Day 6- Credit providers is advise of the application and certificates of balance are requested
Day11-Debt counsellor assess all information requested from consumer and credit providers and issue a declaration that consumer is over indebted or not.
Day 21- Debt counsellor provide a provisional repayment proposal to the credit providers for their response. At this stage of the process will credit providers normally cancel debit order mandates they have
Day 31- Credit providers respond to the repayment proposals
Day 36 - Debt counsellor consider all responses and liaise with consumer in the event a credit provider respond with a counter proposal.
Day 41 - Debt counsellor issue a final repayment proposal to all credit providers and instruct attorneys to proceed with a debt review court application
Day 60 - Court date is obtained and court application papers is served on all credit providers to respond to the application on the court date
The process from here going forward is a court application process and depend on the availability of the courts and orders granted by the Magistrate
After care is the final stage where the debt counsellor administer the consumer's accounts in terms of the court order
Final step of debt review is when debts are paid and a clearance certificate is issued by the debt counsellor
