Court Order leaving me in MORE debt every month - horrific experience - WITHOUT PREJUDICE
I went in 2020 to DebtGrip under the impression and with the greatest faith that they would assist in getting me out of debt via Debt Review to ensure that I maintain my standing as a law abiding citizen. They gave me a 72 month plan (which is a very long time) where I pay them a massive portion of my earnings (as a single mom with no support it is extremely difficult). They managed to get a court decree somehow where every month, some of my debtors land up being owed MORE every single month which, to my knowledge, it not the purpose of debt review. How they managed to get this through the courts is beyond comprehension and the fact that every month they take their huge fee and I owe more and more money to some people, which somehow I am still now required to find to pay the creditor despite being under debt review. They have exacerbated my position instead of assisted it, they have and continue to cause me significant daily financial stresses and strains with what I believe to be an unlawful court decree as some of the respondents were never even contacted to negotiate which is part of what they charged me for. The fact that this is allowed is shocking, the fact that despite going to the NCR nothing has changed about this and the fact that they are supported by and promoted by Solidarity is even more sad. I trusted them, as a vulnerable member of society, and instead of helping all they did was make matters worse and get a court to agree to it. I am devastated, not just by their callous actions but also by their nonchalance to remediate the situation. It makes me both helpless and hopeless for my future and that of my children.

14 Oct 2022, 05:58The Court Order was granted, but due to the client not being able to increase her monthly repayment, she is unhappy with the service. This is not the fault of Debt Grip, but the inability of the consumer to increase her repayment as requested by the Credit Provider.

The Court Order was granted, but due to the client not being able to increase her monthly repayment, she is unhappy with the service. This is not the fault of Debt Grip, but the inability of the consumer to increase her repayment as requested by the Credit Provider.

Again you come with lies and falsities. You did NOT even contact one of the Debtors and decided on your own whim what you would pay them which results in me owing them MORE every single month instead of less. This is malfeasance on your behalf and frankly that entire Court Order should be nullified at your cost seeing as you charged me for the erroneous one. I honestly could do better than this with one hand tied behind my back and a blind fold on. I TRUSTED you as the "experts" to LESSEN my debt, not increase it. You are terrible at what you do and frankly should lose your license to practice. I will continue doing my utmost best to make that happen. Your company is the type of company that brings all other debt review specialists into disrepute and give them a bad name and I am horrified that Solidariteit would even suggest using your services. I will be taking this up with them as well.
Either you can get that DRAFT Court Order rescinded or I will continue with my online onslaught to ensure no one else is suckered by you as you should be completely ashamed of your actions and trying to help me considering the ridiculous amount that goes into YOUR pocket every month when that could be going to my Debtors.

You as the consumer still remain responsible for ensuring your Debt are paid. Unfortunately, the Debt Cousellor cannot be blamed if you cannot increase your installment as suggested by the creditor.

24 Oct 2022, 12:26DebtGrip did not even consult one of my debtors and used an email address that does not exist to "communicate" with them and then assumed their silence was tacit consent. So tell me again how professional they are when they lied to me AND the courts when they claim to have done their due diligence. I will be taking this to the NCR to have the DRAFT court order rescinded, I have paid for your services and continue to do so while my children starve and I cannot pay for the basics. I trusted you with my finances and YOU did not do your homework and as a result I get more indebted every single month because DEBTGRIP did NOT do it's job. I can and I will blame DebtGrip for this blatant malfeasance with a strongly worded letter to the NCR to have some recourse against reckless review agents, such as yourselves. You should be ashamed of the litany of issues against you instead of apologizing, humanizing and trying to come to a way together to fix the problem. You REFUSED and just shut down, now I'll go AGAIN to the NCR and if that doesn't work then I will obviously have to take it further. You should be disgusted with the way you have treated someone who just wanted to keep debt legal and follow the process you prescribed. Instead you LIED and did whatever served you best, got me into a decade of repayments +++ because you DID NOT DISCUSS IT WITH THE BANK and carried on as if you had their consent when you did not. Your job, why couldn't you just DO YOUR JOB?! I would get fired for less, you should all be ashamed, a single mom of three with NO support and this is what your clients get. I hope, with all sincerity, that you have to go through this one day and get treated as I have been and then perhaps you would feel the shame you ought to. Some humility and know that you may (or may not) have been the final straw that pushes someone over the edge.
