He accused my son, without any evidence, of the transgression, with his staff member, who herself was doubtful of who or what she had experienced.
He insulted us with insinuations and accusations, and eventually when he realized that he had no leg to stand on, no eye witness, evidence or proof of any kind (bear in mind there's security cameras around) he proceeded to name calling, referring to us as "these people", and left the restaurant Kingfisher.
I approached him downstairs at his restaurant, asking him for clarity on his remarks and comments, and to understand why he had approached my family. It is here that he became verbally abusive tried to intimidate us, claiming to own the establishment and threatening us.
As it turned out, there was a water drip from a gutter, due to the rains, and a drop of water had fallen onto the waitress.
I demand that the owner contact me to explain why Johan couldn't or didn't approach Dave, the manager of Kingfisher, to address the situation. Is it common practice to walk into establishments in Mossel Bay and start dishing out accusations to kids, or is that behavior reserved for people of color only?
Dave, by his own admission, stated that my son was extremely well behaved.
Johan is not fit for any role where he engages anyone from the general public, and I am considering laying a formal charge at the local SAPS for the racial slurs and physical ************ aimed at my extended family, my wife and I.
