Unpaid Vouchers/money to activists
Please make me anonymous I would like to write about the employment about DA they hired us to do community survey and promised us to pay us with Voucher every week in Monday after we submitted our work 15 forms per day for 6 days each day it's R50 and we must go door to to , filling forms total forms per person 90 , they paid us for two weeks first week of February 2026 and the second week of February, DA PR councillor of ward Q 61 AND 58 Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality promised to give us 4 weeks of Voucher rewards but third and fourth week of February FROM 16 to 28 February things started to change till today. And the are new activist who are new on this never get anything..

This party must **** off,out of western cape. They useless just as the ANC. Smooth talking people how they work for the city of Cape Town,bull****. 5 ****ing days without water,mother ****ers. People must open their eyes quickly in the next municipality elections and vote for the FF+, **** this DA.

As a South African citizen who has spent years exposing *******ion, abuse of power, and political deceit, I must publicly record the disgraceful conduct of John Steenhuisen, Glynis Breytenbach, and the Democratic Alliance (DA). On 13 October 2025, I sent a detailed, evidence-based email to the Leader of the DA (John Steenhuisen) and copied Ms. Glynis Breytenbach, a senior DA MP who serves on the Ad Hoc Committee on Mkhwa**** — a committee charged with ensuring accountability and integrity within state structures. The correspondence contained verifiable information, supporting documents, and serious allegations of misconduct and interference by public officials — matters that fall squarely within the DA’s claimed mission to uphold good governance and fight *******ion. But here’s the truth South Africans need to hear: When I was under Witness Protection, it was John Steenhuisen himself who made promises to me — promises of political support, legal accountability, and action once the evidence was presented. Yet, when the pawpaw hit the fan, and the political fallout began, Steenhuisen ran for the hills. He vanished. No calls. No follow-up. No action. And Glynis Breytenbach, the so-called former prosecutor who now sits in Parliament on an oversight committee, was copied on all communication — and equally chose silence. This isn’t leadership. This is ***ardice wrapped in blue branding. The DA sells itself as South Africa’s hope — a party of accountability and ethics. Yet when a protected witness comes forward with proof of *******ion, they close ranks and hide. Steenhuisen’s failure to act after his promises is not only a moral betrayal — it’s a breach of the public trust and a complete abandonment of principle. I now ask publicly: Why did John Steenhuisen make promises to a witness under protection and then disappear? Why has Ms. Breytenbach failed to act or even acknowledge receipt of the evidence? How can the DA preach accountability while turning its back on those who risk their lives exposing the truth? This public record will remain visible to every South African who deserves to know the truth behind the DA’s polished image. All communication and evidence, including the email dated 13 October 2025 and earlier engagements with Steenhuisen, are available for verification. It is time for John Steenhuisen, Glynis Breytenbach, and the Democratic Alliance to be held to the same standards of honesty and integrity that they so loudly demand from others. Poor Service
As residents in ward 55 of City of Tshwane, we have been struggling for service feedback from our councillor. I am one of several concerned citizens residing in the Pretoria Claremont region. Being without power for more than 30 hours and even water, our councillor choose not to act in the best interest of the resident. Let me not sweet-talk the matter. As residents, we are being neglected by our DA Councillor. She simply does not care, respond, or even attempt to assist the residents with their questions and queries. As a party, you require our votes to have confidence in the party. Unfortunately, the people’s confidence is simply not there, and I am afraid that this will carry over to the next election. Wheneversomeone is just asking too many questions, they are simply ignored and removed from the whatsapp groups. My concern: • Is this what we voted for? • Is this the type of service we are expecting to receive. • The city of Tshwane also does not care, and we do not know where to turn to • Will other parties be of more service When I approached the regional office, they did nothing and came up with excuses such as other parties neglecting the city etc. etc. I think the DA should have another look into the affairs of their members and what they stand for, as this portrays the vision of the DA?

Poor Service

Municipal authorities Bankrupting the Middle Class Citizens
As a Hone owner on a Pensioners (Sassa) income we bought our monthly electricity for R2300.00. This is the current state You've bought R1 940.90 electricity (571kwh) for XYZ Person. R67.97 utility charges were deducted. Purchase token: XX63 51XX 22XX 2XX5 XX14 Total of R360.00 in vat and surcharge on the R2300.00 monthly payment. Madness and unsustainable. To get any “relief” you are made to jump through so many hoops it’s completely useless. Our income doesn’t keep pace with the inflation, hence these ridiculous increases and rates bills are wiping out the majority of the older generation. 🤬🤬🤬 YOU ARE Impoverishing the Poor to Middle Class Citizens. Totally unacceptable and Disgusting Treatment of citizens who have worked their whole life’s to make and support the Country we live in successfully. Contributing to the Tax’s and Economy. Old age is a “Death Sentence” as the Government and Municipalities starve us slowly but surely. We’ve outlived our Usefulness. Shameless. Fat Cats.

DON'T BOTHER TO ASK FOR ASSISTANCE - THERE WILL BE NONE
We have been without power for a week now. Eventually turned to Ms Harman for assistance. Got a reply - "Please don't direct power issues to me as Cllr. The depot manger is @John Mabena Thank you." - very caring. My sister who is a 73 year old lady, has been in the cold and dark now for a week and this is the best the DA has to offer. We expect this from COJ which is why I turned to her for help. Oh well, now I know who not to bother with come next election. Too busy with important stuff, not silly constituents dramas.
