All that glitters isn't gold !

My daughter and her fiance, Caleb, were sold a ring that was too big for Caleb on the day of the wedding. It was a sudden rushed purchase as the wedding was on the same day. They were assured that it could be re-size , as who would pay R10K for a ring that didn't fit and couldn't be re-sized ? After taking this ring to 2 x different jewellers in USA, being embarrased, and being told that it can't be re sized. This is the ring that was blessed by the Bishop on their special day. When he came back to EL a week ago, they took the ring back to the jeweller. The saleslady now confirmed at was a hollow ring and even they cannot re-size it. She did not tell them this info when they bought the ring, the owner disputes this ! We have requested a re-fund for this ring, but were offered the opportunity to pay in an extra R1900 for a new ring to be produced.

We have been up and down to the mall, requesting a refund as we always thought we were dealing with one of the best, respectable, trusted jewellers of many years in EL.
