Flying dogs

Dogs are not allowed to fly into South Africa. I applied for a permit & dispensation from the department which I obtained with great difficulty & expense. However at the last minute my pet wasn’t allowed to fly on the plane from Europe on the sector into SA. The airlines have strict instructions from the department. I have flown all over Europe with my well travelled, vaccinated, microchipped, 3.5kg Yorkshire terrier.
